Now I've learned how to play the game, and I was up till 1am the two previous nights because of it.
On a happy note the first time I tried to make a well, I didn't flood my base.
My first fel mood guy also had all the required goods to make his masterpiece, now if I could only find out how to locate it.
I'm currently at ~32 dwarves, but I don't remember exactly how many because a bunch of peasants decided to get eaten by the carp.

Why did you have to post this? I had no idea what Dwarf Fortress was until I saw this. Now I'm wasting all my time away with it.

Well, I figured some multiboxers would enjoy it =p
For me, it has lots of the same attractions -- plenty of control and complexity (and modability too).
Only "downside" is the primitive graphics.
(WoW's graphics aren't the greatest either, but I love how WoW's art has near complete coordination.)
