45+ instances?

I have 2 RAF accounts that are being boosted by my main account. A druid + rogue and my 75 lock. I have the two low toons at 45 right now. What instances would you guys suggest for the 45-55 levels. Also do you run the whole instance or just the parts with the most mobs then reset? I have also heard that at one point it gets quicker to just dual the linked accounts and quest. Is this true?

My boosting plan is pretty simple and boring but following this grindsession using my lvl 70 ret-paladin I can ding out groups of 60's in 2 to 2.5 days real time (about 4-6 hours per day commited to this)

Lvl 1-8 grind out the quests

Lvl 8-12 (a few run threws of RFC in org) -get some greens

Lvl 12-25 (SFK just park your group by the gate and round up all the mobs..pull em down to courtyard and butcher = instant lvling for your alts without them even needing to move)

Lvl 25-40 (SM Armory --- start here and do a few runs till you ding 30 depending on gear you after, then jump into Cath and grind till 40) again 2-3 pulls max and Cath is empty very sweet easy xp)

Lvl 40-50 (ZF ... park your guys near the start and mount up..gather up as many as you want and pull them back..move your group to next room and repeat...very fast instance)

Lvl 50 to 60 (Scholo --- I picked this over Strat ... I just find the bosses super easy to kill, and there are enough bosses to drop plenty of loot to gear/disenchant)

I use this cookiecutter approach on all my new teams..its boring but effective.

If you wanted to switch things up you could also probably run Mara and Sunken Temple to fight the bordem of grinding the same places so much...I know I hate scholo with a vengence now..I never wanted to see it again after completing my last team to 60...but then like a fool I bought another 5 battlechests to 10box with hehe.

I follow the same lines, only from an Alliance perspective.

I run Scholo over Strat, because:

(1) It's really close to the WPL FP at Chillwind Camp

(2) I can usually gain about a level with a group of 4 RAF'd with my unlinked 80 Druid after clearing Rattlegore and Ras, then exit out after clearing a pat in the summoning room and reset.

(3) You can get into Scholo/Strat at 45 minimum, which is good if you despise the ZF runs. Although if you gather up all the shallow graves by the Witch Doctor that's a whole ton of elite mobs to AOE down post haste.

(4) Killing the Blood Herald always drops (for me anyways) the reagent to summon Kiritonos the Herald, which is a quick fight for at least 2 blues for DE/vendoring

(5) The amount of runecloth I get on the runs is nuts, and still sells well, even after using about 1000 pieces to level up tailoring on 1 toon to 300 and first aid on the four to 300.



The only downside:

I have 11 of these in my guild bank, since they drop like crazy in there... at least the lifestealing still sells well.

i found it way faster to quest after 40 if your doing the RAF. if you have a high level to run you then just quest and have him kill everything. there will be an xp nerf with him i the group but if you can 4-5 quests in 20 mins the quest xp will makeup for it (takes like 4 quest turn ins to level) , when i was doing my shamans i had a them follow my 70 around and went from 40-55 in about 6 hours going from ferealas-tanaris-felwood-winterspring then boosting them to 60 from 55 in ramps

Just outa curiosity - in ZF how did you mitigate the "hex" or whatever it is that turns your booster into a toad? I bubble out of it in my pallie - but as soon as i'm "grrr-ribit'ing" around again the Trolls make a b-line for my team and squash them. Just asking as it might be something simple i'm missing.

I quested after 50 with one team and another team I ran Scholomance until 58. The questing seemed to be a bit faster and was WAY , WAY more fun. If I ever see scholomance again I'm going to quit WoW and go back to MUD'ing. My third team is quest leveling (45+) even faster as I know the quests, drop rates, which ones to skip, etc

simple answer (that's what I was doing):
just park your alts (no fighting) and so if you get hexed the trolls will still attack your main.
