Mirror Image halting broadcasting?

I got my mages to 80 finally, three of them, and i am now running instances. Whenever i use mirror image on boss fights, my minions stop casting, but my main continues to cast. i have to manually click on each screen to begin a cast. any ideas to fix this?

try casting mirror image (which i have not tried) and then hit space bar to see if they are jumping. if not, something is up.

what key do you have tied to mirror image? are you sure its not on round robin or do-not-pass?

bound to shift+8, and i have many other buttons bound to shift+(number). will try the jump thing, not near my boxing comp right now.

it is not on DnP or round robin. to be more specific i typically use it on bosses, i push it just after the tank pulls and then push my main nuke button, 5, and my minions stand there like they ride the shortbus. then if i want them to cast, i keep pushing 5 and click on their two screens and they will cast, and i have to continually click back and forth between the two.

i am using targetless focus macros on the minions. /cast [target=focustarget] Arcane Blast, and its been working wonderfully until the mirror image thing, so id rather not change my macros; if they are the cause then i will go back to the slow /assist

ok problem solved...

i'll paint this picture from a pvp standpoint. if you have ever fought a mage who used mirror image, u lose your target on them as part of some trixy blizzard thing. because of this i can only assume it also clears FOCUS, which is the root of all of my macros. therefore after realizing this, i checked on my mages when i casted mirror image, and sure enough they lost their focus, ie my brain, ie their main targeting source. so they were not casting due to loss of focus, so i will change my mirror image to a macro so that it will show /in .3 /focus *brain*. this should solve it w/o me having to remember to push my focus me macro.
