Quick Talent build question - not a rate my build one.

Been RAF Dual boxing a mage and paladin. Loving it. I haven't played either class before and am still researching.... however:

At 40 do I go prot on the paladin and focus on aoe dps on the mage?

So far I have been ret / frost and mainly single mob take downs and questing heavily - obviously. Which is damn quick, maybe I like the dps of the ret pally?

for RAF questing / leveling i'd stay DPS specced on both. Prot spec and AOE is fun, but not likely nearly as fast as blowing through quests with two characters that can kill quickly.
