    Damn it! And here I was thinking I was all leet and stuff for managing to juggle two of them spread out 30 yards at once. Oh, when doing the destructive ward at the Obsidian Dragonshrine, never ever under any circumstances drop all five of the destructive wards at once.

    The turn in at Briny Point in Dragonblight is a pain. I had completed it on 4 and was about to do my fifth when a gnome rogue shows up and manages to click the altar before I could. I got to watch as he did the turn in before I could go through it the sixth time. So far I think that one has been the worst I've had in Northrend. I'm sure it will get better though. I don't look forward to doing the Wrathgate for the third time, even if I've never done the invasion of Undercity from the Alliance side.

    Note that these quests aren't just multibox unfriendly, they're grouping unfriendly. Blizz is very inconsistent with this type of thing, there are for example drop quests where the drops are party-wide (though these are rare), and then there are quests like the damn sea monster in dragonblight as previously mentioned. Why the hell she doesn't test/debuff your whole party instead of just the summoner is just plain poor testing.

    Sometimes boxing is an advantage with the simulataneous turn in trick, these quests suck all the more if you're trying to play with friends, something this game nominally encourages.

    It used to be a 40 man raid. Waiting for everyone to turn in took longer then finding a group (40 man pug lol back then), getting everyone there, killing the adds, then killing the boss.

    Oh! How could I forget the freeing of Teron Gorefiend in Shadowmoon Valley? It's a fun event the first time, then you understand that you simply need to use each ability as it becomes available and it becomes a straightforward timesink. The pain starts with a bit of lead-in while Teron proclaims himself much smarter than yooouu-oouu, then there's the possession, then you wait for the draenei to take his position, then there's the long fight ... then Teron rides off ... then ... agh ... you start to twitch ... then you have to wait for the spirit to respawn ... argh ...

    This is an example of one that's needlessly protracted for multiboxers, but sucks equally as much for single-boxers fresh from the fight on Netherwing Ledge with their four groupmates. Most of the time a single-boxer will have done both prereqs on his own, unable to get a group right away for the dragon, so now there are five guys at the Altar of Shadows ready to turn in and do the Gorefiend fight.

    I can see why it's set up this way -- they want each person in the party to be able to do the fight personally, which is pretty nifty the first time. It still hurts to sit through it though. I know their latest phasing technology didn't come online until WotLK, but I dream of a world where this kind of event is phased, with no waiting. I care more about what happens to me than to other people, after all, and anyway the event's not going to be quite as cool when I finally get to it if I've already seen it six times.
