Correct.
You would have to drop one of toons 2-5 to keep the bonus for the rest.
So toon one would always be getting XP, and you would have to rotated the rest out.

Im new to play boxing
i have started in January Raf links in 4 accounts (3 new ones, 5 total).
4 accounts RaF linked, int this way:
account 1 unlinked // account 2-->account 3 account 3--> account 4 account 3 --> account 5
this strange choice of links because my acc1 was full and acc2 almost full.
Currently levelling mage squad (x4) with pala tank from account 1.
Xp boost works fine for me.
Probably issue is higher level character ("booster") in linked account
This is what I did in the beginning (the link sequence). But I bit the bullet and rerolled all new accounts with the daisy chained referrals rather than all to one. If I hadn't, I certainly would not be able to get 48 level 60's. Doing the RAF in the correct way helps tremendously compared to others. Plus with granted levels being seen as earned levels, you have a lot of gift levels. Just last week, when doing a "cleanup" of lowbie chars to make room for new ones, I accidentally deleted a level 60 mage 8| that I JUST got to 60 a couple days prior. I had enough gifted levels that I was able to get another level 60 instantly from level 1 with all the levels left over to grant.

make a level 1 on account 1. dont level account, iono, 5.
once you get your team up to 60, you can easily boost account 5 by linking it with a level 1 from account 1. run them through instances with your three other uber level 60s. not that hard is it?
there's not "easy" way through this. you basically gone a messed up. so this is how you deal with it.
the only way to get the 3x XP is to to have a character within range of 5 levels.
and the quest has to be within range as well. I had many quest turn-ins where the first person to turn in the quest blew the main out of range of the quest so the alts didn't get the 3x bonus.
start a new character on account one ( or start a new team )
you will be leveling fast enough it won't kill you ( at least until level 60 ).
if you wanted to boost as well as 3x xp, then it might be best to have an non-RAF account doing the running through instances.
account 1 stand alone and account 2 -> 3, 3->4, 4->5
this means account 1 will never level an alt though.
good luck.

I did things the right way, having a main account not linked for boosting the other five. In my experience so far this has been useless, since boosting the classical way has not been worth it. I've quickly leveled 5 man teams via questing only with tourguide. Never had time for instances the levels came so fast.
So in my opinion you haven't missed out on much. Rock and roll.
Unless Blizzard has changed the way XP is distributed when you have a high level character in your group, RAF boosting is (or was until recently) faster than RAF levelling. 18 hours /played for 2 x lvl 60s via boosting.Originally Posted by 'CommanderChaos',index.php?page=Thread&postID=1815 79#post181579
i dont think this is a matter of faster=better.Originally Posted by 'danyjr',index.php?page=Thread&postID=181696#post1 81696

?(In my experience so far this has been useless
his point is that he's been able to level up super quick questing and actually learning how to use his five characters together, 5 boxing. so doing instance runs with a booster is quite useless. your argument about how its faster to boost vs leveling via questing is irrelevant to this reasoning.Originally Posted by 'danyjr',index.php?page=Thread&postID=181848#post1 81848
