Shamans are the second strongest healers in the game, when 3.1 hits I expect that to change dramatically but right now they are in good shape which hurts the influence of Ele and Enhancement getting any types of good buffs.

You sure about that? I was under the impression that the big reason Resto shammies are popular in arenas atm is due to:
4 * High burst * 1.4 = silly

Just when you thought things was bad this new shadow priest skill jumps in!
Psychic Horror (New Skill) - You terrify the target, causing them to tremble in horror for 3 sec and drop all weapons for 10 sec. (16% of base mana, 30 yd range, Instant cast, 1 min cooldown)
Guess that even now the tremor doesnt tick after 3 seconds but with this and a fear bomb after things can get REALY ugly.
If you use SK - 100 as a gauge of what works and what doesn't in Arenas through all the brackets, Shamans have a 14% representation which is #3 out of 10 classes. Which is kind of staggering since there are more Shamans in the top 100 than Rogues/Mages/Druids/Warriors Combined. Every single one of those Shamans is also Resto heh
There is 2 Shaman in the top 10 on Tournament Realm as well, where some classes don't even exist.

Oh ya I wanted to add that Druids will probably be #1 healers again when 3.1 comes out, they are receiving bar none RETARDED buffs, and priests will be close to equal footing as Shamans so we'll drop down in that department, though this has nothing to do really with multiboxing - it does effect our buff/nerfage.

Couple things I wanted to point out. First, if you expect to win more than 50%, you had better be the best. The way the system is supposed to work is that you will settle into a rating where you are equally matched and win as often as you lose. The system may be broken, but expecting to win more than you lose is a slim proposition.
The second thing is just an observation on the tournament realm. It's both fun and frustrating at the same time. Haven't been doing much 3s yet, but running DK and Shockadin Pally in 2s has been interesting. Most matches are long and consist of me running around after a target hoping to get them low enough and out of LoS of the healer so I can finally finish them off. We have only really been burst down once and that was a mage/rogue combo. Been up against a few shammy and while lava burst hurts it's not a game ender. The worst match we had was agaisnt two disc priests with no intention of winning. I don't think either myself or the pally ever dropped below 90%, but I'm sure we had each of them at 10% more than 20 times only to get hit with a psychic scream or another break as we watch them heal to full. After we finally manage to kill one of them the other spent another 5 minutes pole humping trying to put off the loss. They could only have won if we both left the match. It was comic in the frustration.
Anyway, not sure if this adds anything, but I'm stuck at work and I needed to distract my brain.
Oh, gonna 2 box shammy with the pally healing and see how it plays out. Worst case I'll get my 200 matches in and get my murloc pet.
