It's moderately OP at 80 in the sense that you can 2 man any boss with no enrage timer or insane damage spells. Both holy and prot pallies have unlimited mana essentially.

Then came 3.1 - bye bye mana bye bye 2 manning much of anything unless you overgear it to death.
