    Default Oh finally the long awaited elemental pvp utility buff...

    Shaman:

    * Bloodlust/Heroism: Cooldown reduced to 5 minutes, but Sated and Exhausted now last 10 minutes.
    * Poison Cleansing Totem and Disease Cleansing Totem have been merged into "Cleansing Totem." Cleansing Totem pulses every 3 sec, down from 5.


    Enhancement

    * Lava Lash now has a new icon.
    * New Talent: Frozen Power: Increases the damage done by your Frostbrand Weapon if it is enchanted on your main-hand weapon by 10/20%, and your Frost Shock has a 50/100% chance to root the target in Ice for 5 sec. when used on targets at or further than 15 yards from you.
    * Spirit Weapons: Now reduces all threat generated by 30%, not just physical attacks.
    * Stormstrike charges have been increased by 2, and cooldown reduced by 2 sec.
    * Improved Stormstrike re-designed: When you Stormstrike, you have a 50/100% chance to immediately grant you 20% of your base mana.
    * Toughness: No longer increases your armor. Instead, this talent now increases your total Stamina by 2/4/6/8/10%.
    * Unleashed Rage - Reduced to 3 points, down from 5. Each point now also increases your total Agility by 1/2/3%.


    Elemental

    * New Talent: Booming Echoes- Reduces the cooldown of your Flame Shock and Frost Shock spells by an additional 1/2 sec., and increases the direct damage done by your Flame Shock and Frost Shock spells by an additional 10/20%.


    Restoration

    * Ancestral Awakening: This talent now accounts for your ineffective healing, rather than effective.
    * Cleanse Spirit now has a new icon.
    * Riptide: This spell has a new icon.

    The elemental buffs wont be much help since it doesnt realy help me get away from meele anyway.

    What if i specced 1 shaman hybrid like this:

    Dont take the tree TO seriouse since i just wanted to see HOW far i could come down in the talent tree.

    Now we got a ranged root with 3 seconds cooldown, it will kill some of our damage but it will make the ranged targets unable to line of sight us. (without trinketing that is)

    Yes you lose 10% on lightning bolt and 20% on lavaburst but you might be able to get in more damage afterall. The loss of astral shift is taken in toughness..

    As i said im just playing with the talents and how it would work in real life is impossible to say!

    Reeheeheeheeeeaaaalllllyyyyy. I don't see the point in that.

    And sorry but I lol'd at the PvP utility. Cooldown reduced by 1-2 seconds on flame and frost shock? Yes well, it's an improvement, but it still doesn't do anything about why (solo-shaman) PvP is broken. Not a single damn thing about survivability, kiting ro crowd control. (And don't say frost shock is good crowd control, just play some more arena if you believe that. I'm sure you'll come to your senses. :P )

    Frozen Power is a good change, but pointless for elemental to have. It's good for enhancement to catch up to targets or for pillar kiting. But it's too deep into enhancement to be viable for elemental shamans.

    Well i was only considering taking it on one anyway and 5 second is pretty long, after that comes a 5 second slow aswell. (glyphed) Never said it was good or viable but it could be possible and im willing to try it anyway.

    The bloodlust change is easy to understand.. Its to prevent double heroism in certain encounters and to make it easier to balance, with the change you dont have to wait THAT long anymore if the raid does a fast wipe and only got 1 shaman. Wont change much apart from pve'ers and bgs.. If you die however sated goes away so you can pop bloodlust once again.

    On a more serious note, yes I'd say it looks attractive to spec one shaman in the frost shock root - needed a lot in arenas to make kills on LOSers.

    However, surely this kind of root has diminishing returns?
