Default Minimum Software to broadcast to two EQ2 windows on one machine?

I've been struggling all evening trying to get two EQ2 windows to run on one machine but I absolutely can't get commands to broadcast to two windows at the same time. I'm trying to do the same lazy setup I used for WoW dual boxing (shift + number keys is used on follower only, everything else is unbound, so I broadcast all the time. Very simple, nothing fancy) using a variety of programs (AHK, HotKeyNet, Octopus) but none of them are working. Searching I found threads from last year indicating you had to buy innerspace and possibly keyclone to get this to work as EQ2 only accepts commands while in focus. Is this still the case?

    Default

This is still the case. At the very least you need Innerspace, unless one of the other programs has a lock forward option to lock all EQ2 sessions forward. As far as I know, however, Innerspace is the only one that actually has that feature working for EQ2. Keyclone is not required, but people like the ease of use that Keyclone offers for things like round robin and such.
