Default There's light at the end of the tunnel

So I finally got my last full group up to 60 last night, which allowed me to grant levels to my other toons, resulting in 48 Level 60's

Now I only have 2 more left (two level 28 warriors) to get to 60.

It's kind of depressing considering I spent over 1000g yesterday training up my druids. I'm going to have to start getting some money together though.

    That's why I'm posting.

For those who have done boosting of your toons, does that make a decent amount of money?? I have a 6th account that has a 67 DK on it, which I can boost with at least up to ZF. Is that going to make me more money disenchanting items, or should I just quest the last two toons up and deal with finances later?

Mutliboxers easiest way of earning money is without any doubts dailies.

Disenchanting low level stuff depends on your server so take a look at your AH, people usualy pay alot for illusion dust (disenchanted from level 52-56 items) Its one of the worst bottlenecks in enchanting.

You can get decent money for low level stuff but you cant overprice it since most people can farm it on theyr own.

Why did you spend money on training your druids if you didnt plan to play them?

Its kinda hard to see your plans here since you have 10 teams all sitting at 60. Is the plan to level them at all? if not i dont see a reason for wasting money on training them..

wow, that is a lot of toons! thought i had it bad. your best bet is to get a team to 80 as soon as possible and use that team to start financing your other teams. Dailies can generate about 1500G or so a day. Once you get one team to 80 get another team there and do daiies on both teams. rinse and repeat.

Don't you have dailies at level 70 and above?? I haven't really experienced much content past the mid-60's. Where do you get dailies?

I spent the money because I would like to play them and see if they're the group I want to level up first. Most of my teams were leveled to 60 the hard way, some were gifted. In this case, my druids were granted gift levels from 30 to 60.

Most of my teams are fully trained, as I think the only ones I have left to train up are my rogues, which were also gifted from 30 to 60. Other than that, all my toons have 100% training on them. Perhaps it's a waste, but I have everything at my disposal.

I plan on trying all of them out in Outlands to see which I like the most. it's just the approach for the last couple toons that I'm torn about doing. It's another 18 hours of questing, or just boost and work on enchanting or another trade.

    Just boost them to 60.

Gold will come in quickly enough in outlands. What with Quest rewards, gear you can't wear, even trash items you loot.

How were the DK's to level up?

I've been considering them as the first 80 team. Either that or my paladins.

If you have the time i'd try and work your DK's and Shaman teams together towards 80.
It may seem alot but bouncing between the 2 will give you the benefit of rested xp in making the trip to 80.
Plus you will have the advantage of swapping out for a tank for instances or tough fights.
DK's are great for levelling but for me Shamans are a must at for 80 IMHO
    Hope this helps

Crafting ftw. Buy low, sell hi. 1-2k profit per day for an hour of AH scanning and crafting.

I'm on my third trip to 80. The first two were solo characters. A DK then a druid. The DK obviously started at 55 and the trip was long. Since I have a lotof characters at 70, everything from 58 to 68 was old content. I didn't get to anything new until I hit Northrend and it tends to wear on you. The druid was much easier since he had full rest, good gear, and epic flight form. It went much faster and I hit 80 in a lower zone and was able to skip quests I didn't like and all of Grizzly Hills.

I'm currently leveling a 5 box group of DKs to 80. They hit 72 a night or two ago and I just headed to Dragonblight after questing in Howling Fjord and Borean Tundra. I wouldn't say that the DKs are hard to level, but you don't have a rez and it is possible to die in the first two zones. I don't worry about dying to mobs anymore, other players are a different story. If you aren't on a PvP server you will be fine once you get to 71 or so as you will ahve to try pretty hard to die on quests. Instances will be a whole different story and aside from a couple half hearted attempts I haven't touched them.

No matter what group you take, Northrend has lots of collection quests, so at times it will be tedious.
