Help w/ creation

Howdy,

I was hoping there would be a sticky about this or something but I will just ask instead.

I am interested in making a custom wallpaper with my team on it. I'm aware of photoshop, but I dont have it.

Are there any free tools out there that you guys are aware of that I could use to create a decent looking wallpaper?

try gimp . its an open source photoshop clone. that means its free. ive never really used it but its suppoed to be ok.

Most powerful and free is the Gimp, actually I prefer it to photoshop, perhaps because I got used to it first.

Paint .NET is also free but not as full featured as the Gimp.

I never got used to GIMP, the interface is just so ... badly designed that I can't spend more than 2 minutes in that program trying to figure out where to do something. :S

i started out with photoshop and could never use gimp properly. though i did give it a try, it just wasnt memory-hoggy enough. erm... i mean feature rich.
but i used to use ps for school and work. had many of the command shortcuts memorized. in any case, if you dont have any experience with ps, then get gimp. its free. learning curve isnt so bad. there are some tutorials on how to do things at various websites. last i checked was 2005 so i really dont know if they still exist.

Lol I am really not very artistic, not my strong point. If somebody feels like making a wallpaper I wouldnt complain.

What would you need, just screen shots of my people?

most probably. i cant do it anymore as i dont have ps anymore. im also at work but if you let these guys run wild with their creative genious, im sure you'll end up with something awesome.
