I am planning on doing EQ2 for fun. I will still be raiding in WoW, But i wanted to try out EQ2 RaF style. I would like to go to a server where other MBs are. Can you list what server your on?

I will let you know once I finally get my stuff set up. I was going to roll on another boxers server here but didn't want to seem stalkerish, lol. But I tend to be in my own world when I box, so I rarely ever talk to other people in game because it's too distracting.

I'm the same way, but I think its fun to have friends to chat with when im trade skilling or whatever. I have a vent we can use as well. All my old toons i had are on Butcherblock server. I might just fire those up again, unless people post here with servers, ill just strat there again, I think I have some bags/money on those toons as well.

My husband and I are on Lucan DLere, which is an RP server. Not really enforced RP, but it's considered good manners to try to play along a little bit if you get into an group that has RPers in it.
We also rarely talk, we're odd hours players and pretty shy, but don't let that make you avoid the server. Good people there and I'm sure they'd love the new blood.

I love people that can really role play. I'm terrible at it.
The only thing I can ever think of is a drunken old world Irish type accent for dwarves..but it freaks me out to play shorter races because I feel like I'm ducking low to the ground.
Maybe if wood elves used a form of "red neck"... yeah I could do that.![]()

Being Aussie, I play on Najena, so my times will be pretty different than you US guys. The GMs and guides here are pretty friendly TBTH.
Just some advice which may help future 6 x Mboxers and really give you peace of mind - let the GMs know you are Mboxing in bulk - I did this by issuing an exploit report on myselfIn the report, I mentioned my setup (hardware / vetra / 6 pcs etc etc), and basically introduced myself. This went down a treat and within 10-15mins of issuing the report I had a GM checking me out and basically giving me the two thumbs up. I even got an email from the same GM confirming there 'ok' in writing plus a 'welcome' which was pretty nice tbh. I will be honest though, I dual/tri-boxed Najena since release without making an effort to let the GMs know and I spent most of that time needlessly worrying about being reported - save yourself the worry and just let them know.
Personally, I tend to pretty much stick to myself on the server but I do get the odd /tell from interested people where I am more than happy to sit down and have a chat and show how to do stuff - I don't tend to put on 'town displays' like some of the WoW guys.
Of course, like all servers, there are the big guilds who think they 'own' the place (probably do if looking at the latest expansion is anything to go by) so be prepared for kill-steals in contested dungeons when your leveling up a team - no matter how long you have cleared the trash et al - whereas my style is to leave the named when it's obvious someone is clearing to it - but /meh - everyone's different. Funnily enough, IMHO, more often than not it's the big guilds who will run though your team, stand on top of you, kill steal etc etc etc - just be aware and don't take offense - saves a lot of QQing in the forums.
Just rolled on Nektulos, mostly because the name Parabola wasn't taken on that server :)

Been playing on Nektulos since 12/07 and just started dual-boxing. Welcome to Nektulos!
I've got my 6-box team on Nektulos with our WoW guild name "Disinclined to Acquiesce".
But, if you see me just standing there and I don't respond..odds are I'm AFK to help the kids with something. :P
Guess I need to make a group macro for AFK...

I single-boxed EQ2 back in the day but never got past 30.... got kind of depressed about WoW in the "The End" thread on these forums lol so I am going to take a break and see if this desktop will dual boxing EQ2 for the moment.
You guys all seem to be on Nektulos, is that right? What time zone are you in, just out of curiosity.
