    Default Dual boxing shamans

What is the best spec for dual boxing shamans?

1 enh + 1 ele or 2 ele? 2 enh probably too hard towards positioning etc.

    thanks -

Try em all 2 elemental will be the easiest to manage, youd basically be just like 1 ele, with 2x thefirepower. You could go 1 enhance and 1 ele, then you get more flexibility with gear, but it would be more complicated to manage. Hell, you could even go 1 enhancement, 1 resto if you wanted to be different I bet with 2 elementals though, that you could effectively replace a full time healer in leveling instances, provided the tank has ok gear. Just throw up dual chain heals every now and again, keep 2 healing streams up, and you are good to go.

I have a pair of shammies. Been pondering this same thing lately. I leveled 0-80 as enhc/ele and found it worked pretty well. Lately I have been getting all my new gear as caster stuff and I am pondering going ele/ele or ele/resto. Heck, I have considered going resto/resto and getting them individually on a 5v5 for a little pvp action.

The enhc shammy always had more health, but less mana pool. You can work around that with food and pots. I am currently running him with mostly caster gear and that really helps, probably doing less melee damage than I should, but who knows. I have been solo my whole time. Never run any 5 man instances, etc. With flame shock/lava, I can take down anything to about 16000 health with 3 button pushes, so kinda hard to gauge real power right now. Maybe I should find some target dummies.

I did make it so my enhc shammy does a step back on space bar, and the ele does nothing. I moved my jump key over to the down arrow (basically swapped backstep and jump). While leveling/grinding, I typically setup, and then take one step back to bring the two close together. Makes turning angles a little easier for casting. I also use a keepFollow addon. On one of my attack keys, I do a /keepfollow stop, so I can quit dragging the elemental if I need to.

Here is what they look like:
