Halls of Stone presented some new challenges that I hadn't faced as of yet. First, some of the bosses were extremely healing intensive. The Maiden of Grief was more or less just being in the right spot and avoiding damage as best as I could. That was a relatively easy fight.
The Second Boss, Krystallus is very hard for a 5-boxer. Just like Gruul, he knocks you back and you only have seconds to get away from each other before you are frozen in place and then shattered. Any other members of your group that are in close proximity take a lot of dmg. Trying to get your guys to go in 5 different directions at one time and in just a couple of seconds was a little bit of a mind block for me until the light bulb came on. I finally figured it out.
The quest within the zone (Brann Bronzebeard) to open the door to the final boss (Sjonnir The Ironshaper) was fun. Basically it is just a positioning and damage race. Not too hard here. After you get done, you can loot the chest known as the Tribunal of Ages. Next stop is the last boss.
Brann opens the door to the last boss. Sjonnir wasn't really that hard although I do admit I messed up in my healing cooldowns and got a little too close in one spot. I downed him and was so proud of myself that I didn't lose any of my guys to see a millisecond later that I hadn't gotten out of his AOE he left behind - one of my guys dies. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot......sigh..... Oh well, good times and this was a new chapter to put in the books for the DK's.....80 is coming up quick. This means new Titansteel Destroyers for all, as well as preparing for Army of Dead x 5.
