Default Pc keeps crashing after a few mins boxing

I have a q6600, 6gig, 9800 GT, running with 2 monitors plugged in. For some reason, when I go into instances I crash out completely to black screens. There are not sound loops or anything. Its just like the pc quits on me. Anyone have this happen to them before?

Oh and I am doing the 5 boxing thing on one comp. It has never done this before.

If its reproducible like that, then its prolly the game. Blow it out and reinstall. If it happens in other places, its your OS, Drivers, or a hardware problem.

I also run dual monitors and it seems to crash out when I log in now what seems to be like 3 or more wows.

I am not sure if that could be the problem. Has anyone else experienced this?

If your system is crashing in that manner, with no blue screen and no immediate reboot (just shutting down completely), I strongly suspect it is due to overheating. You may want to check to make sure your system is well ventilated. Make sure the air filters (if you have them) or vent openings are not clogged with dust. If you have a utility that reports core temperatures, that will confirm the suspicion. Just run it while you start your instances and see if it jumps above 70c.

For comparison, my system usually doesn't get above 50c at full load. Anything above 60 is pretty darn hot (140 degrees fahrenheit!)

Most common reason for this kind of crash is overheating. Although your rig is more than capable, you need to have the cooling to cope with the extra temperatures that occur when taxing it like this. If you have some sort of system monitoring software on the machine, run that and note the temperatures that you get.

I have had no issues running 3 sessions on an e6600 dual core cpu, 8800GTX. I have 2 HDDs in there too generating heat.....but I am also using an antec 900 case with an additional 120mm case fan blowing air out...and am using a scythe ninja with a 120mm fan attached.

That might all be a bit of overkill...but I doubt that there's such a thing as too much cooling on a gaming pc.
