Trollgore DPS recount - Frost Mage

For fun tonight I ran recount during my trollgore fight. Its a tank and spank spam dps button fight. My mage is frost spec and I am still working on his gear. He did 3261dps on the fight. I was very shocked to see that. I know he has been getting some gear upgrades from drops but it seems like his dps has shot way up. It's a very quick fight so I would say thats burst dps not sustained. Over all I am pretty happy with him. My frostbolts are almost down to 2sec cast with haste. If anyone is looking to add a dps class I would recommend the mage. Ports, food, buffs, & aoe make it a great choice.

I did gundrak last night and one of my shammys did 3700dps thats my new record i think, i dropped the boss about 5sec after he turned into a rhino. that was without magma totem and fire elemental. my dk is blood to but he was unholy for the 10% spell dmg buff im sure he could of cracked 4000, it was the first time a shammys managed to pull agro off my dk for a second.

can only imagine what sort of dps guys are doin in a few t7 pieces etc, my main guy is still in alot of blues

The other day on patchwerk25 my mage broke 7k dps, I was hitting over 10k on thaddius. Its crazy how well mages, warriors, and DKs scale with gear. Of course my mage is in 4/5 T7.5 and has some malygos25 pieces, plus he's arcane so you can really scale the DPS very high near ends of the fight just by spamming arcane blast (and of course go through 20k mana in 20 secs lol)
