Computers were not cheap back then. I spent over 2 grand for my 25mhz 486sx with 2 megs of ram and a 60mb hdd. I remember spending another $400 later upgrading it to 4 megs of ram and another $300 or so getting a 12meg 3d accelerator card for it from 3dfx. My iPhone has more than all that and cost $200.
That is funny, I was just thinking the other day how the most expensive video card I ever bought was my $300 Voodoo2 back in the day :P
