    where do I begin.
I had a series of problems....

    1. jamba was sending messages and it wasn't that easy to get all 5 accounts to turn off all of the error messages. ( operator error I'm sure )
    2. bittorrent... I was trying to upgrade my bios and in the process I had downloaded bittorrent to get a copy linux going. little did I know that the bittorrent never dies even after reboot. I was serving up the linux disk for over a week eating up my bandwidth to the internet :cursing: . I have since removed bittorrent.
    3. BIOS upgrade on the DQ45CB Intel motherboard was a total BEOCH. It wouldn't flash from Vista like my other intel board, it would just die. It wouldn't flash from the SATA CDROM drive using the ISO image from Intel because it wouldn't detect the drive after boot. I had to borrow someones USB CDROM drive to get it to flash. The BIOS upgrade has been a HUGE system performance improvement except now the CPU fan doesn't run at a constant speed, it slows down and speeds up enough for me to hear it .... damn Intel. X(

my system seems to be running much better now.
I had 5 copies of wow running with 3 of them and 30FPS and two an 15FPS ( maximizer limited ) with no problems whatever last night.
I didn't run thru Dalaran or anything like that but it did seem to be running much smoother.

I occasionally have the same problem:
5 WoWs on 1 computer divided over 4 CPU cores. One would start lagging(network only, performance itself is superb) until relogged. After relogging that 1 client, everything is fine.

For awhile I had a similar issue. Unrelated to my PC hardware. I had lag on only 1 client, it would stay at 1000ms or so, when the rest of my clients were at <150. The client that had the lag changed constantly, and that client would always lose follow.

Turned out to be a bad cable modem which I discovered via other network testing (speedtests etc). Got a new cable modem and haven't had the issue since.

I had the same problem also, i took a speed test of my internet connection and realised it could only give half the speed i payed for, then i changed my Modem and router after that the internet was fine, i think it has something to do with the packets you modem is sending, and if it cant handle them correctly it has to effect you somehow. It had nothing to do with Jamba in my case.

I'm glad this thread resurfaced; I couldn't find it yesterday.
So I'm fighting Svala on heroic yesterday and IT happens. The main screen just shows the shamans all standing mid-cast, the sword is hanging about 10 feet over my head, but the other screens are fine.
I end up biting it and really can't recover. Svala wipes my group with 2424 health of her own left. This really belongs in my multiFAIL thread.
I have no idea what caused one window (all 5 on same computer) to have intermittent packet loss for about 10 seconds (right as my tank was being sac'd too). It sucked because even with killing all the adds the sword still got her because I couldn't move.
No matter how many times I hit the "OMG RUN" button.

I got this one time on my healer when I almost got the 3rd boss in Halls of Lightning down. It would have taken another 10secs for boss to die and instead my healer stands there doing nothing and my tank dies. Wonderful.

I have one toon which lags occasionally as well. It took me a long time to figure out that it was tied to my internet connection. The single toon lag-a-thon is mainly at night, after 9 AM or so, and usually lasts until 3-5 AM. I live in a small town and the internet is more of a "new fangled thing" so there are probably no more than 4 or 5 people in the area who know anything about packets and latency. The internet company will work with you a bit, but asking about slowness in the middle of the night would be useless. So I put up with the one toon that lags, and I've grown accustomed to closely watching for it.

Dismounting high up on a mountain side and afterwords noticing that one toon has suddenly fell to their death, has taught me to watch for it, especially when flying.
