Best Horde race for shamans???

I was wondering what horde race would be the best for shamans. I know Ellay the master of shamans, choose female orcs because of 15% resist stun and because of the pure size difference between orcs and taurens. Just wondering if it is that much of a pain to play with 5 gigantic taurens walking around.

Any other inputs in choosing the race would be very much appreciated.

My take, aoe stun > stun resist but I don't have the same level of experience as Ellay with shammies. I do think that if your moo cows are too big, zoom out. There are mods to zoom out further even.

You only need to Warstomp with one of them. So your DPS only drops by 1/5th.

Personally? 5 Female Cows.

Warstomp has diminishing returns I think, but you could still chain-warstomp for fun.

It does but with 5 guys you tend to mow people down fast enough that you always have new targets.

I have a 63 Orc Shaman, and the racial Blood Fury is amazing for me. 1n a 1 vs 1 fight with my elemental shaman, the extra +dmg is like an extra free trinket along with the normal trinket i can activate when using an Elemental Mastery LB or CL. applies to +attack power as well if you're enhance.
I think it's +healing also, and can add to you healing stream totems, and earth shield.

The only downside is the healing debuff you get, but in my case they were always dead before i needed to heal myself, and if it's group pvp, i can stay far enough away for the debuff to wear off.

Probably not a good racial to rely on in Arenas, but for BGs and world pvp, it's nice.

I have only played a Tauren Shaman, but i'm thinking a lot about what race i want to use when i start to multibox shamans.

My problem with Taurens is that they are very clickable. I get attacked no matter where i'm standing in the zerg express going do Vandar.
Sure, i get 5% more HP, but i don't think that makes up for it at all.
I have tried various effects to make the Tauren smaller, and that really helps with survivability.

I get CC'd to death a lot. Maybe i just suck, but i would think the stun resist Orcs get, coupled with that they are not as clickable helps a lot. I think i will start playing five orc shamans.

My Main is a 70 Orc Shaman, chosen for the +5 Axe skill and the 30% stun resist (this is before 2.0 when enhancement Shammies were good in PVP - used to rule in 40-49 bracket with 2x flurry axe )

for my 3x Shammies, I chose Tauren primarily for the 3x warstomp

I had originally planned to make my shammies:

Tauren (leader) 2xOrcs 2xtrolls

This was purely for the "looks".

But my end goal is to do Arenas. And part of that is making it hard for teams to pick a focused target without mods.

So my team needed to look identical, and have names that are the same number of letters, started and ended with the same letters, and sounded the same when spoken on vent.

As for Tauren, I have a special place in my heart for them, and my main "Boom" is a tauren warrior. And while you can zoom your camera out (I use Improved Camera Mod too) that has nothing to do with the rest of your surroundings. Gnomes are still tiny, hallways in instances are still small, etc. You're not always playing outside against tauren sized opponents.

I personally like Blood Fury better than Warstop.

My main reason for choosing Orc Female was for the look as well. After thinking through all of this though, Tauren actually might of solved the #1 issue I'm having in Arena's which is keeping LoS. I need 4 seconds ~ ish to guarantee death on any target. If I could weave something to hold the target in place long enough, mission accomplished.

Damn... now I need to go re-roll :P

Has anyone thought seriously about Trolls? I think they look better than Orcs, and I don't want to play Tauren because they would produce such a large target.

The haste racial on Troll seems good, and in BGs it seems like a mini heroism. do they stack with heroism/bloodlust??

I think 4x Raptors = win too.
