RAF clarification

the 2 toons that i am dual boxing are linked via RAF , thus getting the extra xp ok, but i just need to clarification on the grant a level part of RAF.
say my main a/c no.1 refered my secondary account as a friend . after Lvl 40 can they both grant each other 20 lvl's ? ( i am pretty sure it is 1 lvl can be granted for every 2 lvls gained my xp )
Or is it only 1 of the accounts that can be given the lvl's ?
and if so only 1 account is it the account that refered the friend that can recieve the levels or the other account?

only referred account can grant levels to referring account only, if the referred account has levels to grant. there are other restrictions, btw.

its as simple as this. the account that was referred to by the veteran account (veteran as in "main" or first account) can grant points to the main/veteran account. but, there are limitations to the points that can be granted. for example: if the character that has the points to grant is level 40 as you say, then it can only grant 19 points (1 point for ever 2 levels earned, this does not include level 1) but these points can only be granted to a character on the veteran account that is of equal or lesser level. this basically means that you can grant points to a character level 1-40, but not higher.

Are there are any restrictions on granting levels? Yes: 1) Levels may only be granted to characters on a veteran account by characters on a linked recruit account; 2) levels may only be granted to characters of the same faction and on the same realm; 3) levels may not be granted to characters over level 59; and 4) levels may not be granted to characters of equal or higher level.
