    Default Problem Following Vehicles

    Hey folks,

Seems like either i'm dumb or this is just not working out for me.

My Set up is 2 80 Shaman, Trying to do the Wyrmrest Temple Daily. I get the Quest Get a Dragon and then i can't follow my main any more.

    Follow Macro is as Follows

    /Target Anastasiya
    /focus
    /follow Focus

It does not work for my main for some reason. totally confused as to how to get this to work.

When you're in the vehicle are you sure your name is still "Anastasiya?"

    Try just doing:

    /focus <name>
    /follow focus

    Leave out the /target
    <Multiplicity>
Blood Elf Death Knight, 4 Orc Shaman - Burning Legion Horde US (PvP)
    Ellianaa - Haachoo - Hachu - Hachuu - Hahchoo

Heroics down: Gundrak, Drak'Tharon, Utgarde Keep, Utgarde Pinnacle, Culling of Stratholme, Halls of Lightning, Ahn'Kahet, Violet Hold, Nexus, Azjol-Nerub, Halls of Stone

    Yes, like Hachoo said.

You are not able to target your main toon when its one a vehicle. You are however able to /focus <toonname>

And that should work just fine.

I for one say thank you to Anastasiya and Hachoo for the post and the answer. As I don't live on the board 24 hours a day and only check back now and then to see what is going on in the MB world, I appreciate seeing your posts as it was a problem that I had also, but as I wasn't really looking for an answer it was nice seeing one on the new posts since my last visit.

Fursphere can pound sand for all I care. I've searched these boards plenty of times with no luck using sometimes and found my answers using the old page by page method searching through each forum.

This method works for most of my characters but not all of them for some reason. Yes, it is typed correctly and I can see in the lower right who has focus. If I use /target, it sets focus every time correctly. Without the /target method, not all are set. I even tried typing the lines in without a macro on all screens and it still will not set focus when using /focus <name> on some characters. Any ideas?

Is it an issue with how your groups are setup? I can't /focus soandso if soandso isn't in the group/raid. Typically, I have to use a /target soandso followed by /follow.

Yea i read all the other Forum posts about it, but still unalbe to get it to work. which is why i'm here trying to figure what i'm doing wrong.

going to try a new macro as such tonight

    /focus Anastasiya
    /follow focus

and hopefully that will solve my problem. i'll let everyone know if it worked or not.

ahh, that's it. The ones outside of the primary group can't set focus using this method. /target soandso followed by /focus and then /follow will work fine even outside of the group.
