You can’t always assume the test dummy is going to give the perfect DPS rotation. I would get over 1K on dummy, and 600 to 700ish in field.
Add in Parry, Dodge, Miss, Me moving around trying to set myself up, casting other spells like Mark of Blood, IBF, Vamp, anything and everything that I don’t use on Dummy. It can give you a decent range of where its going to be.

I use /castsequence for the first two Icy Touch and Plague Strike and then I have a second button that /castrandom Blood Boil and Deathcoil... I have to log in and check it lol I forget if thats what it is...

one button:
Icy Touch, Plague Strike, Blood Strike on a /castsequence
other: Obliterate, Death Coil on a /castrandom
So I spam the first attack until I see everyone has their debuff on mob and lots of energy and then spam the second button until runes are on cooldown and then start all over. I believe the one I listed there is the tank one, unsure.

Sooo... wait, what spec are you? I assume enough into Blood to get the Aura, but you didn't get Heart strike or anything else? Or are you using the Fury Spec?
Are you not using Rune Strike? That's a rather large part of the DPS we can get. If you get it to go with Heart Strike (so that it can get big crits on 2 mobs) or get a 3.5+K crits with Obliterate like I'm getting now.
Throwing this out there to see if someone knows this. I’m wanting to use a cast sequence with Rune Strike within my attack combo. But if it’s not up, it cancels that combo till it comes up, is there a certain type of script that I need to put into the combo that looks at the attack and only uses the attack when it is up if not, then keep on with the next attack? I know it’s a condition that I need to put into the castsequence. Something like:

/castsequence [nomod] reset=6/combat/shift/target Icy Touch, Plague Strike, Blood Strike, Heart Strike, Death Strike, Rune Strike;[mod:ctrl] Death Coil
I don’t want to have to hit the mod to cast it, I just want it to work when it’s up. Or is there no such thing?
