Zero wanted to know if I had cleared AN, so I put this together real quick. I have been farming this zone for the tanking rings with +DEFENSE. It's quite a fun zone. 15 mins, 3 bosses and you are in and out. Plus the entrance to this zone is a fantastic place to farm HK's (Honor Kills) from the alliance. Nothing like a lower level group of DKs taking out a group of 80 alliance. I think I need to start getting some PVP footage as well, because that is half the fun of having a group of DK's like this.

I must say I love watching your videos. It was your first couple of videos (BF and Ramps I think) that inspired me to start a DK team, of which I am loving.

I need to go back thru your posts, as I think you briefly described your macro setup.
I am wondering now that your of a higher a level (I think you were at 63ish were you talked about your macros), has muched changed?

Currently My main spams IT, PS, Pest, DS, DS
And the slaves spam IT, PS, Pest
Then I have a key set for Rune Tap, and Mark of Blood.

I would love to get a Death and Decay but have not really investegated mouse click broadcasting.
Also I need to setup Death Grip for the slaves, currently I just have my main Grip.

Thanks Norrin. I have 1 button that is the same for each toon. It checks to see who is alive (I have a leader order). It then follows that person, targets their target and keeps the pet on that mob. I spam that while also spamming IT, PS and Blood Strike (heart strike not worth it for me I dont think). I have this setup for the first 3 toons. The only different is that on the last 2 toons I replace blood strike with pestilence to spread the diseases. You can see that work in this video on the first boss (Krik'Thir The Gatewatcher).

I have Obliterate and Death Coil on different keys, but they are consistent between all toons. My usual rotation is to spam the first three til I build up alot of runic power, then spam obliterate and death coil. Death Grip is on a key, but I don't usually spam them all at once. I will click them individually. This helps alot when you get an alliance running from you. You can keep pulling them in over and over LOL.

Death and Decay can be done with a program called Inner Space. I am a lazy tird, so I havent put it on the DKs yet, but I know it is possible. Zero uses it from time to time as well. Anyways, glad you liked the video. :thumbup:

it appears that blood aura stacks afterall ? when you hit for 1000 on a mob you receive 4 % of the hit x 5 ? so you're healled for 40 hp x 5 : 200 hp ? 20% of your total damages ???

edit : your main toon isn't always the tank .... are all your guys in frost presence ? you should cast death and decay with your main char, which generate a lot of aggro ...
or you deal with multiple target change... quite interesting though

Hi King.PA,

Yes, Blood Aura stacks. A lot of people misunderstand it, so I will try to explain. When 5 boxing and having the other 4 auras on you from your other toons, you get your own blood aura (4% health from dmg YOU do) and the other 4 blood auras (16% health from dmg YOU do) for a total of %20. You hit for 1000, you get healed for 200. Blood Presence however, does NOT stack with Blood aura in any way, shape or form. So for 5 boxing, it's best to have all your guys talented to have a minimum of 2/2 Blood Aura (for 20% health return on dmg you do) and be in Frost Presence for the dmg mitigation.

And yes, you are correct. My main is not always the "main tank" and that is on purpose. I specced them all as "tanks" and with very high defense. So, it really doesn't matter which is pulling more aggro, they will be able to take the dmg. On Heroics, my thought was if one is taking too much dmg, use death grip on another briefly while the first is doing dmg and "healing". #2 is taking too much dmg, use death grip on #3, and so on. Between rotations, rune tap, and so on, they should be able to endure through just about anything.

Death and Decay still isn't really all that to be honest. I much prefer to focus on pestilence. That does much more dmg in the long run and is quite a bit easier to get off.

Suicide - I use CAMSTUDIO (Fraps wont work for whatever reason for me) to record segments of 5-6 mins at a time, name them, and repeat. Then I import them into Windows Movie Maker to make one file with audio/video. Then I will upload the final product into Wegame or Vimeo (Vimeo is much faster)

As soon as my toons hit 72, I ran there and cleared it as well. It really is an easy zone like you said. Only had a couple of problems here and there, but all in all, going to keep doing it to get all of them the ring.

nm I see your guys are 75 now, I'mma catch you! So every one of your guys is specced deep into blood right? Wonder how that is for tanking compared to frost and unholy, never really seen a blood tank.

edit: I see your spec for 80, I was interested in trying a spec that included blood worms, healing aura and bone shield. Lots of healing and lots of damage reduction. However you miss out on deep talents and dont get the 15% more armor talent either... actually you miss out on the slowing effect for frost too... hmm that doesnt sound too good. I also wondered why no one is taking heart strike, it sounds good on paper (hitting 2 targets with it is hella nice.)
