I am 100% legit I have been giving my guys large amount of gold could that trigger this? same name persons acounts there all mine same credit card what do I need to do to prove this??

oh, and you may want to get a blizzard authenticator (link ) to insure your accounts never get hacked

as suggested below, contacting blizzard directly is probably the best route. following the link might be an issue (looking at the link provided looked alright, but i have no idea what you received)

Never click the links on any email asking for personal details while trying to make you feel threatend. Call customer support and ask if the email is real and how you should proceed.

I received the exact same email a week ago, when i dug into the code I saw it was a phishing scam.

It looks like they just want to verify that the account isn't stolen - it was probably flagged from the gold transfers. I wouldn't click on any link in an email.. just go to the official WoW website and log into your account, then see if you can figure out where to go from there based on the email's full link. I'd guess there's a page within the WoW site to verify the account.

I would NOT click on a link in an email though - that's how idiots lose accounts, bank info, identities, etc. Someone sends you an email from an apparently-legit site, and you sign in to their site instead of the legit site, therefore handing them your login to the REAL site. The same can and has been done for WoW accounts in the past.

Sounds like phasing. If your account isn't banned, the email is fake and likely sends you so a site that looks like the loging site of WoW, but instead it's a copied site which would store the login details should you attempt to log in there.

And when you do, THEN your account will be hacked.



Besides there's a spelling mistake in the email sent to you. Smells baaaaaaad. (If you did click the link, quickly change your account passwords (pref from a diff comp you sure isnt infected with any bad shit)
