How do you survive them? These buggers are ruining my arena games, in a very swift manner.


I have introduced poison cleansing totems into my defensive TS rotation, but do you have any other tips on how to survive?
One problem seems to be that they can bring my shammies to 40% hp with aoe fairly quickly, not sure how.
The other problem is basically that they kill my healers so quickly it's not even funny.



Is there any way to survive?

ditto , Having a pally healer help but still when bubble is off 2 rogues or rogue druid rushes for my pally he is dead within split second even if i heal , my TS will not slow them down enough. I could chain heal but ill prolly go oom and not beeing able to kill anyone if i dont drop their healers first.

Lost 5 games last day to a 2 rogue team. The times we do get some free space ill try to get their healers or couple of their ranged but good rogues wont die before rest of their team or healers are dead :P

im eager to hear hints and tips on this too.

Rogues love to pop CoS early, as soon as you hear that, they are done game over. Especially if your healers bubble is still up, your healer has to call out quickly when they come in on them and you have to immediatly shift to the rogue and pressure him to vanish/CoS, hopefully he is forced to hit this combo before your healer pops his bubble. If not, once again when he comes back (nova+magma combos work good to unstealth them early) just light him up again, they go down super super easy nowadays once CoS is out of the way. As soon as I hear a rogue hit CoS I know i have an easy kill in 4 sec, especially if i catch him with a nova stun right after CoS drops, its gg. If you don't have a paladin ... well I dont know how survivable any healer without immunity can be in 5s right now honestly, a team that mass dispells my paladain instantly is a hard team to beat atm. Also having target hotkeys to mass target your healer and pump out some lesser healing waves is a must. Mages will destroy a healer just as fast if not faster than rogues as well, and believe me even with a fast GT they still have np getting at the healer.



oh one other, thing I drop 3 poison 1 disease cleanse in my rotation

I've been using 4x healing stream in arena to cope with AoE dmg. But maybe I'm better off using poison cleanse in my standard totem setup.

Atm i use 2 poison cleansing totems and 2 disease cleansing totems, but i have considered changing it to 3 poison cleansing totems and one disease cleansing (staggered)

No poisons = 50% less damage on mutilate..

When we face a typical rogue and feral druid meele setup they always focus on bursting down my priest.

Now in order for him to survive we need to:

All my shamans focus spamming lesser heal wave on the priest while i try to thunderstorm them away from him.
A lucky aoe silence can screw us over and my priest died within 1 aoe silence a few times.
IF were lucky and the wound poison gets cleansed at the time my heals land i basicly heal him from 20% to 100% and it imporves our chances of winning ALOT!.

Rogues/druids needs to be first prio and ususaly my priest places himself in front of me in order to make it easier to dps the meele on him.

Don't really know what happened.. we were playing easy at 1650 rating, then 20+ losses to teams with a rogue. WTF.. Almost below 1500 now.

Can't see how it can vary so much.

I hate rogues .. and when they kill you I fell that they are so happy of them ...

Ive encountered some rogues who pop just behind me with their speed turned on, strafing a lot behind me... that's pissing me off ... I hate rogues... before WotlK came out, when I was dealling with rogues, I just launched my magma totems along with poison cleasing and healled my whole team plus DPS a little bit and it was enough to get rid of him ..
no things has changed.. I just can imagine how to face them... a single rogue killed 3 of my 4 DKs at 80 ...
