I tried this last night but did not seem to get any better frame rates. And the resolution options get all screwy in WOW because it thinks I have one big monitor.

And forget about maximizing windows because then I get one huge screen of whatever instead of it just maximizing on a single monitor it spreads across both.

Is there some fix for these issues? I have dual boxed in dual view...sure the framerates arent great but it works. And I dont expect much since I had both instances of WOW running at 1600x1200. I just wanted to see if the horizontal span would speed things up at all...but I really cant compare because the WOW resolution settings are all screwy after switching to SPAN instead of Dual.

Do you guys just run them all in windows and size the windows as best you can to fit on a screen or is there some way to define the window size manually? Basically I want to boxes of wow maximized on each of my 2 screens. Is there some way to do that in Span?
    I have this same problem.

I have 2 x 24" Widescreens, I tried setting it in Horizontal Span and when I used Maximiser it was putting the WoW window across the gap in the two screens, I was obliged to go for the Dual Mode...

Any advice on this, seeing as your experience in this post says Horizontal Span is better?

    Thanks.

I am running Vista with an 8800gt and I don't have an Horizontal span option for the two monitors. I downloaded the drivers but still have no option for this. Is there an option somewhere else like Omega drivers or any such program?

Anyone know why, using keyclone maximizer, XP, two monitors (24 & 22") when i set it to horizontal view the two clones are behind the main chars window, even though in maximizer they are next to each other, I can not get the clones to appear on the second monitor despite how I set it up in maximizer. I can get the main window to overlap the two monitors but not appear entirely on the second monitor. I am running three accounts btw.

    Does that make sense?

    G'morning Shocker,

what is the resolution of the 2 screens? then, hover your mouse over the maximizer area... is the highest x,y position close to that res?

also, what version are you running?

24 is 1900x1200 i think, 22 is 1650x1050, when in dual mode run them both at 1650x1050,,, in horizontal mode it is 3300x1050 i think.

by version are you referring to keyclone? I downloaded and purchased it this past weekend, not at home atm so can't check the version, but i believe it was the latest.

Still having this issue when running in horizontal view, which absolutely works better than dual view. I would love to run maximizer with two or three windows (just bought my fourth battlechest) on the second monitor, but despite how I have maximizer set up within keyclone the windows are stacking when I run it, not side by side. This is with the latest version of keyclone, version i, I believe.

Currently I just have to run three seperate wow instances outside of maximizer and manually arrange them, not nearly as neat as with maximizer.
Any idea how or if it is possible to fix?

Are you properly assigning the Regions to seperate entries in the command section? Once you size a region and save it, you assign it to its own instance of WOW in the command section. Then make sure they are all set to run.

I got it to work beautifully now, not sure exactly what was the problem, but I deleted all of my keyclone settings, and started fresh. I tested after each new window added, starting with windows on the second monitor.

    Works great!

Has anyone tried changing the resolution for (1280x1024) Main monitor and (800x600) 2nd monitor for 4 slaves after doing this XP Dual View method? It helps my fps to stay steady and less lag. Just wanted to give 2 cent.
