How much reputation on Heroics?

Hi folks

my group got finally 80 yesterday and i can start burning through heroics right now. Does anyboy know how much Reputation i can farm in Heroics?
I know i need friendly Reputation with any faction to farm as "Champion of *faction*". Anyone can help?

Using the champion system, you can farm alot. And very quickly, I might add.

I think I'm netting around 3.5k honour per run or thereabouts. Trash runs from 5 to 30 honour per mob and bosses give 250+. It's very easy to get exalted with a faction within two or three evenings of heroics.

Can you tell me any numbers?
I'll asume Utgard Keep or Drak'theron gives much Rep due to more Thrash.

Actually the rep amount is closer to 1800-2300 per run depending on the instance - there aren't any instances that are 3000+ rep.

IMO Gundrak is the fastest rep - 5 bosses = 1250 rep and an ok amount of trash, some of which gives 23-30 rep per kill, and the whole instance can be run extremely fast once you get used to it. 5 badges per run makes this all around the best farming instance IMO.

Yeah dont even bother focusing on it, just let it happen. In no time you will be exalted with all 4 and have emblems rotting on your tab. My shaman I dont even farm heroics on anymore. They have all the stuff they can get or want and I'm too lazy to take them into Naxx.

I got about 2500 from HUK. There is a lot of trash mobs in there.

But don't grind rep that way. Trust me. Rather shoot for instances that have loot you need/want. You will have more rep and badges then you know what to do with.

Do quests for each faction until friendly, it opens up most zones as well. You should do this first, you get decent quest rewards and there is no reason not to hit friendly and get tabards first. The only exception I think might be Violet Hold, no quests afaik (even still I had a violet hold tabard on everyone, not sure how? Maybe just turning in daily heroics?)

After that I really wouldn't sweat it too much, I'm exalted on all 4 factions and I run maybe 1-2 heroics a day max, many days none. I haven't done most of the quests in icecrown/SP/Sholozar/Howling/Borean, just the starters. Just pick a few heroics you find easy (most will probably say Gundrak, Drak Keep, Utgarde Keep, maybe Halls of Lightning, Violet Hold and Stratholme) and farm them daily, most should have drops off the last boss that will last you a while.

Violet Hold is Kirin Tor faction if I remember correctly and you should be friendly with them by the time you hit 80.

And according to that table Heroic UK gives 1950 rep for a full run which sounds much more close than 2500.
