I did this. In Warsong Hold, before I started using Jamba, my main took the carpet ride and the other 3 followed him off into the dirt. Man I felt dumb. LOL
Yesterday I did this, except that I DID have Jamba. One of my alts took the carpet ride, the other two apparently thought that they were too good for something as ghetto as a carpet ride, and discovered (the hard way) that they really couldn't walk on "magic beams of light." No idea why it didn't work, but at least those two alts aren't so damned high-and-mighty anymore.

when I first started heroics I was pretty upset too.
my healer macro would cycle back to the spell with a cooldown too soon so heals would just stop... tank would die... team wipe.
tank macro had something miss spelled near the end of it so eventually he wouldn't cast holy shield ... so tank failure + healer failure = team wipe
took me forever to figure this out, the healer one in particular.
UK heroic was so hard for me I just wanted to quit.
I had to learn how to hex stuff and that took time.. I used to mark each pull with raid targets and make sure each shaman had someone else to hex then pull to the team.
magma totems seem to do a huge amount of dmg now. depending in the pull type you may want to use 4x magma's. Magma's don't run away from the team like fire elementals can and you can recast them immediately
I don't have to hex stuff anymore 8)

personally I think HoL is one of the easier heroics you can do. learn to take 4 paces back from Loken and cast a group chain heal on all of your shaman when he starts his big cast. ( other say don't move, but you need some 14k+ hit points to do that )
Drak'tharon has probably the easiest last boss , just skip the second boss if you need to.

    My two biggest failures.
1: My team make up of Prot War, holy Paly, Frost Mage, Balance Druid, Shadow Priest
while ambitious I just could not get them working to the point where they would be able to do better then horrible. But I got them leveled up so I could raid.
I have since transferred two characters to other accounts so I am now down to 3 accounts with 5 80's and working on leveling up the other 5 classes.

2: My druid was the last to ding 80, an exploration ding as I was flying over ice crown, I was so excited I started typing "YAY!!!" in guild chat from my druid.
As I hit the first ! my other 4 characters dropped off their mounts and plummeted to their death in celebration
That's been 2 1/2 months I think? Still have not figured out what causes my slaves to dismount when I hit 1, or maybe shift 1. /shrug

However this thread could have promise if people start listing something totally "fail" they've done as a multiboxer (like running off a cliff with their main on accident and having all 4 clones follow them off).

Biggest fail for me was starting a quest that involved hopping on a plane - I have an addon that auto accepts and auto chooses options on all 4 clones, but before it could duplicate my "hop on the plane" click, my main's plane took off and the 4 clones turned and started following it - right off the ledge.
One time I wasn't very careful hopping down to Ramps. I was on my mount and I overshot it *kersplat*. Luckily the only people watching were horde and they couldn't talk crap to me .

Well, I'm fairly new to 5 boxing myself. Still working out alot of kinks.

Currently my team consists of 3 warlocks, a prot warr, and a resto shaman that I stole from my 4xsham/pally team.

Anyways, I hit 80 with the warlocks and the shaman last week, finished up some quests and decided to give Heroic UK a whack.

Full repair... 8| before the first boss. Apparently the fire debuff combined with the sunder armor effect on the trash makes some short work of my tank. Definately need to re-evaluate my setup, and focus quite a bit more on the healing aspect.

By the time I got repaired, and finished killing the trash mobs in the forge room, it was too late to continue. ;(

I guess one of my funniest moments was when I first started mboxing and I was facinated with one of my alts screens as my main ran off a clif and the whole team followed.
later to be repeated with the north end surfing quest, main hopped on first and the team followed off the clif there.

In retrospect... Hex + 3x Seduce could have solved alot of the trash issues. Holy learn to CC batman (at least till gear gets better). 8|

Edit: Twice now I've ran off the Harpoon Surfing cliff with my slaves...

I'll take a double. About a month ago, while I was leveling my first group, I was doing a quest that required you to run up to the top of a mountain and "cleanse" yourself by fighting your inner demon. After completing the quest, you get a slow fall buff. I was thinking "Cool, don't have to ride back down to the bottom" and proceeded to slow fall into the Alliance town at the bottom. I play Horde.

Fast forward to this weekend on my second group, I still remember there's an Alliance town there. I start up the quest on my main, proceed to kill the demon, and my slaves get the credit also. "Sweet, that was easy", I carefully point my group away from the Alliance town and proceed to jump off the cliff. Whenever I'm in the air, I like to rotate my camera angle and check out the surroundings. I switched the camera angle on the main to check out the slaves and noticed they're not there. Credit for quest on all 5 shamans, check. Slow Fall buff on all 5 shamans, doh. inch:
    Team 1: 80 Paladin, 80 SPriest, 80 Disc Priest, 80 Warlock, & 80 Hunter
    Team 2: 5 80 Shamans
    Team 3: 76 Deathknight, 77 Disc priest, 77 Mage, 76 Mage, & 77 Druid
    Team 4: 4 61 Warlocks & 61 Holy Priest

Before my morning coffee started working was at Death's Rise about to take off for two dailies I just picked up. Mounted up and ran off the cliff. And was thinking...why am I falling? Oh, mounted my raptors instead of flyers.

I wonder if theres a way to save each set of characters to a different set of keybindings instead of moving spells around whenever you switch grrr grrr grrr.
I have my #1 toolbar setup and designed for when I am playing solo on each toon. My #2 toolbar is for crafting professions. My #3 toolbar is setup for multiboxing in a dungeon. My #4 toolbar is setup for multiboxing outside of a dungeon. Once I have them set, I don't have to change them around very much unless I respec or mechanics change, but then I'm usually just editting a macro I have bound to my main attack button. I can change out any one of my toons at any time and hit shift-3 or shift-4 depending upon what I'm doing and not even have to think about what specific toons I have in my crew.
