For me F8 is ground mount while ctrl+F8 is flying mounts. Sometimes on a cliff I have pressed just F8 and gone running off the edge to splat on the ground. I've dopne this once while grouped with my mboxing mate who just laughed at me.

Also, while playing solo on my druid, I've jumped off Aldor rise, planning to shift into flight form, but I died cos I was mashing seal form and wondering I kept getting an error message
Don't worry.. I'm sure the next patch will include a flying seal form

Hmm, and with a slight modification to size, leg structure and neck length, we would look like a Nazgul from LotR and Death Knights can be a passenger on top but only if they have a cool looking helmet showing 8)

I wouldn't even know where to begin....

It took me 3x longer to level with RAF compared to everyone else it seems. So, my RAF = normal everyone else.
I didn't know that you get a free level for every two levels you grant. So, I never planned for that and somewhat wasted a bunch of free levels.
I put my first teams main/tank on an account that was a veteran account. Doesn't seem like a problem, but since it was my main tank any other toon I leveled on this account needs to be transfered (i.e., toons to swap out with).

I tried the normal mode starter Northrend instances and got owned by the first boss. All info on the mobs I tried said they were really easy to do. Lol, not for me. So, I decided to just level to 80 and go back.
When vehicle follow was introduced, I was doing some quests and somehow my toons ended up all over the place and parachuting down spread out all over the zone. I had a ton of problems with this on various quests, thankfully there hasn't been too many. The worst is when you go into a vehicle and it "phases" and you can't see your unmounted toons - something I didn't realize even occurred so I am running around trying to figure out where they went.
I wiped many times on the elite quest mob in Zul'Drak named Drakuru. I didnt even realize he was tosses some AOE exploding crap until the third wipe. Didn't help build my confidence for doing instances!!
Missing picking up an item on ONE of my slave toons and having to go back and redo it.....or not being successful on a escort quest on ONE toon. GAH!!
I am still not 80 (very close though).
YOU reminded me... first of all I never did find a good write-up on RAF benefits that explained that EVERYTHING would be gone the day the program ran out.
Sure they mentioned it 40000 times but I still didn't calculate this one:

I have one Zhevra. It's on my main. I will never have another Zhevra.

Then someone reminded me of DKs: Another of my "finest moments" was when I had to kill my best friend 5 times in a row because I decided to 5box 5 different races of Death Knight. I was a bawling mess for like 35 minutes after that.

My biggest fail moment usually come when I'm not multiboxing.

Stood in an instance tapping my Home {autofollow} key and getting pissed because my slave wasn't autofollowing...only to remember I'm solo and that's a real player. Check.
Tried to drop traps/Feign death/misdirect while healing. Check.
Tried to cast flight form only to discover that all I did was cast seal of wisdom before splatting to my death. Check.

    While boxing?

Auto-followed my main off a cliff. check.
Repaired/reammo'ed all my alts except 1 only to have that one spend half the instance in 0 dur gear with nothing to pew pew with. check.
Spammed /s with 1 sentance + 3 lines of random gibberish. Check.
Randomly engaged bosses with a stray alt. Check.
Randomly engaged bosses with a mass of aggressive pets. Check!!
Spent an entire fight with one or more alts facing the wrong direction. Check.

    My biggest fail.

One of my first 5 man setups was a client on each computer. Problem was, one of the systems was upstairs. Every time I had to accept a quest, or click a dialog box for a group, rez, death, etc I had to run upstairs.

I've had tons of tiny fails like, dying from falling and such things. Can't really think of a really big fail.

The biggest I can think off of the top of my head is probably starting an encounter but someone asks me somthing just before, I pause and answer and quickly unpause, but didn't click the pause button proper enough. Took me a minute into the fight to realise I was still pausing and that's why my toons did nothing. :P (At least that won't happen again!)

I was doing Azjol-Nerub on normal with my hunter group (3xhunters, holy pally+Tankadin).

I wiped a few times on the last boss especially those pesky adds gave me a hard time so I thought, 'hey let my pets handle these'.
I carefully spread my toons in a half circle and then put the pets on aggressive, needless to say they all dashed forward and attacked the boss.
I was laughing so hard, I almost fell off my chair. I have no idea what I was thinking but it was hilarious.

    1. On saturday with deathknights I quiclkly threw together one macro file and copypasted in all of my wow directorys becasue I was runnin low on time, took me one fight to releize that at the end of all the macros on my leader still had /cleartarget. Ya that sucked. /fail

    2. Was so caught up with /G chat that first spawn/attempt at killing the flightmaster of opposing faction ended in the keyclone pause button still being on and main repopping alone allowing a near crapmyself sensation followed by a solo 3ish minute corpse run /fail

I don't remember all the details, but normal Hellfire Ramparts with a level 60 group was my first "legit" dungeon crawl. Until then I'd been PLing my group with a level 70 enhance shaman. I had leveled up a hunter separately to join my paladin, priest, mage, and warlock. Well, this was the first big test, a level-appropriate group trying an instance. I got everyone buffed up and had the paladin pull the first two mobs, and everyone is DPSing, and the priest is heal... wait, the priest isn't healing!

I don't even remember what the problem was or how I remedied it. I do know that somehow, the group managed to kill the first pull and I managed to get the priest to heal the paladin in time to prevent a wipe on the very first pull of an instance run. Then during the trash clear I wiped a few times and finally realized that something was messed up in my DPS rotation so that my mage (who was my most efficient DPS at the time) kept losing her target and nuking nothing. Without her DPS the fights were dragging, the priest would finally get healing aggro, and I would wipe. This is also the point where I realized that binding Fade and using Blessing of Salvation might be good ideas.

Consider it sort of a Fail Salad. Not a case of one big major fail, but lots of little fail leading to a very long time spent clearing to almost the first boss. It had a good side, I learned about keybinding and macros in a sort of crash course. :x

Due to multiboxing I have to plaly with all my video settings on low, including my view distance. For the quest where you shoot a harpoon at 3 buildings on the other side of a river, I was stuck for a good 20 min. I couldn't tell what I was supposed to shoot at until I finally turned my view distance to max and it was clear what I was supposed to look at...

I, too, have sent my slaves off a cliff due to hopping on something that causes me to fly. It's pretty funny when that happens

I continue to fail at healing 5-mans when I'm 2-boxing. I have a warrior and a priest and pug with 3 dps. For the life of me, I cannot tank and heal at the same time with a full 5 man group. I am using key clone and have different keys mapped for healing and tanking abilities. I even unmapped the f1-f5 on the tank so he doesn't switch his target, when the healer does. For whatever reason, I get flustered in the heat of the battle and wind up healing the priest about 5 times in a row (unintentionally) while the dps die around me. I guess I just need more practice. Any tips on how to improve are most welcome.
