I wound up Pwning myself while trying to grab a gold begger awhile back.

Had a mid level Lock ,so I went out with a friend, to outland, found me a good rock, summoned Friend on the lock.

Then the old game of inviting the begger to the party, and summoning him out there went into play. Sure enough we got him out there, stuck on a rock. Sad thing was, I had forgot that my hearth stone had already been used, so my lock was out there also.

Lead many to there death via the gravity traps mentioned above.

Had fun with two tanks in ramps by casting Vigilance on each other.

Another time, Had my hunter use Misdirect on my tank, when my dog jumps in my lap, causing me to turn it off. Enter one dead hunter.

Man so many more I can think of.

Last night using my 80 lock to take my druid/rogue RAF team through sunken temple. I just killed one of the troll bosses who maintain the forcefield then I used the cursor keys to move out (they're not on the DNP list on keyclone). Not realising the rogue was facing the wrong way he fell into the chamber with the dragons and died fairly quickly. Hoping to be able to rez him with the druid...I tried to navigate him into place to get LOS.....then he fell to. By the time I'd switched back to the lock's window and got down...I saw the last swing that killed them.

I gave up with ST and rezed them at the healer.

Spent an entire fight with one or more alts facing the wrong direction. Check.

I had to lol at myself for this one. I moved into the fight with the final boss (King Gordok) in DM North fairly quickly, walking up a crack at the edge of the platform and not noticing that two alts got stuck and didn't join me. Realised there was something wrong halfway into the fight, when the two weren't showing cast bars with the others, but by this time Gordok had charged and scattered my other chars around the platform. Finally managed to get three consistently facing the right way to finish him off, and was surprised I managed it at all.

Second lol today was realising that I hadn't cleared al the patrols in DM West when taking out the first boss, only to have them join the fight and wipe me when he had 5% left.

Third lol today (busy day) was in Hellfire Ramparts, fighting Vazruden and his dragon. I was using the arrow keys to move my shaman out of the aoe fire attacks while dpsing Vazruden down, but didn't notice I was only pressing the walk forward button each time until they overtook my tank, just in time to meet the dragon who had descended from the sky. Wipe and sigh..

I just wasted about 300K XP and at least a couple of hours being 1 point shy of level 71. I guess you can't ding with the free wotlk trial. OOPS!

The leader has quite a head start now (it has a real upgrade).

Did the same thing, Had 4 of my 5 characters upgraded and 1 on trial as Blizz locked out my CC as I used it 3 times in a row. Handed in about 200k worth of quests and I was sitting thinking surely the other guy will ding on the next quest.
3 quests later I realised >.<

However this thread could have promise if people start listing something totally "fail" they've done as a multiboxer (like running off a cliff with their main on accident and having all 4 clones follow them off).

Biggest fail for me was starting a quest that involved hopping on a plane - I have an addon that auto accepts and auto chooses options on all 4 clones, but before it could duplicate my "hop on the plane" click, my main's plane took off and the 4 clones turned and started following it - right off the ledge.

I did this. In Warsong Hold, before I started using Jamba, my main took the carpet ride and the other 3 followed him off into the dirt. Man I felt dumb. LOL

I have my mana/health up buttons for my two toons bound to the number pad numbers (using one comp, one keyboard and keyclone). Went to drink something with them and ended up scrolling the chat panel up. "No problem" I think I'll just press num lock, cancel auto-run on my main and drink like that. Then I pipped over to my alt and pressed num lock again so that she could drink too... you wouldn't think I spend most of my day working with compouters.

I am doing multiFAILs all the time

1 ) Forget about buffing in instances

2 ) Using the wrong totems

3 ) Starting a boss fight with my healer almost OOM... that's my favorite

4 ) Making outdoors group quests and forgetting to put the tank bar on my tank and heal bar on my healer, so my tank ends two shoted and the rest of the group running for their lifes.

5 ) In Coldara near Nexxus I was ganking people one day I was bored and I managed to pull to the ground one of these lvl 80 elite drakes that fly over your head. I guess it had something to do with my 40 yards flame shock and using alt tab to target everything that had red name. Since the two rogues I was about to gank vanished I decided at least to take down the drake thinking the rogues just ran away.
The drake fight took about 7 minutes or so... my group was lvl 71 by that time. At the end of the battle all my toons were OOM and almost dead... Then suddenly out of nowhere appeared two /cheer /lol emotes and the two rogues I was about to gank popped and anihilated my almost dead group.

6 ) Try to make UK with red gear tank... forgot to repair his gear before entering the instance. That would be not a big deal if I didn't realize it until I reached the second boss and saw the melee guy doing lots of damage on my tank... By that time I had really spammy overheal macro, so I could have reached that boss with a nude holy priest as tank if needed.

7 ) One day I was having fun with the target dumies in IF and saw a dwarf watching at me. When I finished my macros tuning I just made a show in front of that dwarf making figures with chain heal and dropping totems. Then another player passed by my side and said "What are you doing? Entertaining the guards?" Then I realized that the dwarf was a city guard.

Completing a rather long and annoying quest only to realise that you had either missed picking up the q on one of your toons, or that you had completly forgot to share it in the first place!

Certain instance quests where you are meant to loot the boss etc and forget to on your slaves. Then suddenly remember halfway through the instance and run back only to find it has despawned! Ramparts springs to mind. I couldn't tell you how many times I've done that before!

Talking of /follow deaths, I try to avoid going anywhere near the LM in AB now! The ammount of times i've gone up the, thunderstormed a group of hordies off the the cliff, /lol'd, only to be blown off the cliff by an enemy shaman, with my slaves happily following me off to their doom!

About 3 weeks ago i was in your shoes.. could only take down heroic UK.
Now I don't have a resto shaman (all 4 are elemental) and can farm most heroics, many in under 30 minutes. I found using BoK over BoSanct early on when ur HP is low helps a bit.. made the difference of wiping on trollgore to downing dtk!

Now for the failures! I played with my set up and stepped into AB the other night, Shift R to rotate whole party right, and I was wondering why they all started spinning... hint: don't use shift + key for movement keys as if u let go of shift first it doesn't stop !! ><

Going into the arena with the intention of trying to kill 1 or 2 but not really intent on winning.. and forgetting to hit follow...

neatly spreading out before a boss fight, only to hit my follow key instead of my buffs key once engaging the boss...

tweaking setup and ended up with avengers shield on the same key as a totem, result: pulling the boss before my totems are down or remotely ready = wipe
