Hello, Dual-boxingers. We usually get into talking about how big our rig is, or how 25-boxing Naxx was easy.
Let's go the other way for once. Who is the biggest fail multiboxer you know?
In my case, it's me because we're not very social creatures. I know there are others on Moon Guard, but haven't actually met them.
Summary of Qualifications:
-I just hit 80 last week.
-I raised a DK up to 70 before deciding to stick with the paladin I already had in place.
-I can only do one heroic: Utgarde Keep.To get any useful badge loot (40 badges) I'd have to run Utgarde Keep ten days straight.
-I wiped 6 times on Meathook(heroic), and only beat him because I spammed LHW the entiiiire time and took a runic mana potion and used mana tide totem.
-I wiped on Svala Sorrowgrave twice, but now she is the only boss I can beat in that instance(heroic).
-I thought things were finally going right, because I beat the first three bosses in HoL(heroic), but then wiped on Loken 8 times in a row and didn't come back because of respawns. One of my shamans has under 12k HPs.
-I couldn't even kill the first boss in AQ40.
-My PvP is weak because people can kill me extremely fast, and I'm stuck with my paladin out front since I ditched shaman #5 to make room for the paladin. Once, I one-shotted two people at once (80s from the top guild on the server). Then 3.0.8 changed Elemental Mastery so I can't even use gimmicks to kill anymore, and 4 chain lightnings do about 20% of someone's life now.

I'm sure there's more, but I've depressed you enough. Sorry! I meant to make you feel better about yourself. Anyone FAIL more than Mooni?

and this is why your failing with heroics, it takes gear to do heroics and you need gear for pvp, dont get to upset that your not wipeing the floor with every challenge that comes your way.

still plenty of time to turn this all around. just get the gear for it

However this thread could have promise if people start listing something totally "fail" they've done as a multiboxer (like running off a cliff with their main on accident and having all 4 clones follow them off).

Biggest fail for me was starting a quest that involved hopping on a plane - I have an addon that auto accepts and auto chooses options on all 4 clones, but before it could duplicate my "hop on the plane" click, my main's plane took off and the 4 clones turned and started following it - right off the ledge.

Just do the heroic bosses you can, no need to get obsessed with full clears until your geared. If you can get a few bosses on clear everyday plus UK you'll get your gear faster, and be able to do full clears.
As for failure, during my raf period I got one group of a warlock and 2 priests to 50, and a 5 shaman group to 45. That's all in 90 days, a lot less than everyone else who got 5 groups to 60 or so it seems. Maybe it had to do with me just starting, not sure.
With my lock priest crew I got camped by a single rogue, my level over and over again. My pvp skills sucked, needed more macros but not sure what. I'm thinking pvp on my boxed teams isn't going to be a priority, because to me its no fun getting beat up all the time.

There have been lots of mistakes made along the way, but I consider my self pretty "good" now. I have 4 heroics instances on farm, the only thing that is hindering my 5man progression is that I don't have much time to do it. Seems that I spend most of my time raiding on my resto shammie.

But, my one BIG failing is a pretty stupid one which keep getting me killed because I am too lazy to just fix it. Sometimes under the right circumstances I scroll to a differant action bar on all my toons but my tank, so it takes me a while to notice, and when I do it's almost always way too late. All I need to do to fix it is the change the keybindings a little.

Haha you know the harpoon quest to surf in howling fjord. I did same thing forgot they were on follow not once twice but 3 times ive done it now. Master hops on goes for ride and all i see is 4 slaves falling to thier doom. Hence to say non of my slaves ever did the surfing the harpoon /sob.

Oh yea another thing. You play on a designated set of 5 get use to the macros and keybindings then you goto another set and goto fight something and die. Done this to many times because you forget what buttons to push. I wonder if theres a way to save each set of characters to a different set of keybindings instead of moving spells around whenever you switch grrr grrr grrr.

Hah I had that problem once and then I immediately went into keybindings for all 5 chars and unbound shift+1-6

THAT has happened to me plenty of times too. For some reason it usually happens when I'm grouped with another player but still running a few of my own.
Like I'll try to hit my "everyone but the tank sit and drink" button, but accidentally summon 3 Earth Elementals (after the fight is long-over)

Not upset at all! Otherwise I wouldn't post here.
I was pretty upset after one of my shamans dipped down to about 22g in the pocket, from too many repair bills, but that was last night. Now I'm highly adjusted to how jacked up the power-gap between level 80 instances and the easiest heroic is.
With us, the multiboxer crowd, one wrong button means a wipe on a boss fight.
There are a lot more wrong buttons on a keyboard than right buttons. So with bosses other than Loken, I don't have anyone to blame.
I hate this part though - it was the same way with TBC. You have the absolute best gear from non-heroics, that means you're nowhere near ready to tackle heroics.
If I was able to clear every single instance non-heroic, wouldn't it make sense that I could at least take an unavoidable AoE hit from a boss? And what's up with me getting critted for 7.9k when my defense is at 559?

LOL! I did that too!

Let's see...I hit 70 with my team, went into ramparts, and got my collective ass handed to me by the first mob.
Ran through 1000 Needles as Alliance, not realizing/remembering killing the guy at the top of the elevator flags you for PvP, and having an 80 Horde hunter pick off every one of my team in under 60 seconds.
Flying through Icecrown and hitting my mount/dismount button by accident. EPIC fall!
Finishing a long fight/quest, and finding out one of my team does not have the quest. Done that several times!
Hitting the wrong button during a boss fight, and my team mounts...instadeath.
Thinking I could /follow over the chain in Blackrock Spire. "AeeeiiiiiiiIiiiiiii.....splat"
Hitting a strafe key by accident bombing Pirates in Northrend. "Aeeeeeeeiiiiiii...sploooosh"

Yeah, I just realized, my toons fall a lot. I was like that in vanilla too, my rogue "discovered" Un'Goro by falling off the cliffs mining in Tanaris.

It's that, or getting overambitious with my team. I took the quest in Dragonblight, "My Old Enemy", and got smacked so hard and so fast I left the zone and quested elsewhere in shame for a while.
