Hello all, i have just found my way into the dual boxing scene and last night took the plunge and purchased keyclone.
I am gonna start simple and just try 2 toons on World of Warcraft , of both same class e.g 2 x mage untill i have all set correctly and get used ot it.
My 1st hurdle that i have hit is that i can get keyclone to pick up and send the key presses ok from 1 window to the other window fine when i play the game windowed ,, but if i try to play Full screen with say the main character , then the key presses are not picked up and transfered to the 2nd toon.
I am lauching the 2 games using the keyclone command "wow1;wow2"
So far i have not even looked at the Maximizer section of the program , as want to know if Full screen is supported or must u play windowed all the time.
I have set it up to not transmit the "wasde" keys so far , and just put the other toon onto follow

My pc is Q6600 @3.4 each core with 8800gts 512 , with the monitor 24" WS desktop ress 1920x1200

Hello, and welcome to db.com. I'd be sure to read the wiki and sticky sections on keyclone and see if your questions answered. After that send a pm to keyclone himself if your answers not there. Hes very helpful and will tell you what you need to know.

Howdy Joe,

how are you going into full-screen mode? if you started your wows with keyclone commands (wow1;wow2), then switched each to full screen mode, not recommended, then the wow window keyclone was using was destroy when wow went fullscreen. as such, keyclone doesn't have any windows to pass keys between.

two things, first, keyclone commands are really meant to run your wows in windowed mode. if you do not enable the maximizer, it won't force the issue...so you could be ok. second, odds are you unchecked the auto-add-windows-titled ... go ahead and leave it checked. that way, if you go into full screen mode, or whatever that forces wow to destroy and recreate the game window... keyclone will pick it up and put it in the list.

also, if you are on vista, please make sure to run keyclone as administrator (not just logged in as, but right-click/run-as-admin)

Hiya and thanks for the quick replies
I am launching the 2 x WOW games via keyclone "connect" feature with the command "wow1;wow2"
and i am using the following settings in the "maximizer"

it seems to be ruuning best that way , pressing f8 / f9 to change the PIP view.
My only real problem , and probby the biggest one is the graphics seem to be "Tearing" like producing like rips etc in the scenary and comming from objects etc.
Is this like a driver issue ? as i dont have any such problems running the game "full screen"

yes, that sounds like a driver/hardware issue.

what graphics card are you using?
how much graphics memory?
os?
cpu?
how much system memory?

GFX card is 8800gts 512
CPU Q6600 Quad core , each o/c @ 3.4
OS system XP pro
System mem 4gb ( not all used by xp ofc as 32 bit )
GFX driver was latest a few weeks ago when i reformatted , "181.22_geforce_winxp_32bit_english_whql"

I will try downloading an older or beta driver , is anyone else here using a 8800 gts 512 mb model that dual boxes ? if so could u pls see what driver u r using and ill try that one.

You should be fine with the newest driver, however check the option in your video configuration (in WoW) called "Vertical Sync" and see if it is disabled. Enabling it might fix the tearing, but it will also reduce your performance.

Looks like i finally got the tearing fixed,, well fingers crossed :P
