Default Wanna try MB, just have a question,

I wanna start trying to MB on my PC and I know this question have probably be asked before, but its late and I cant be bothered to search.

Basically if I want to MB with 3 or maybe 4 clients on one PC, does it matter if one client is WotLK enabled and the other 2/3 are just WoW classic and only really there to help me powerlevel a toon on my WotLK enabled client? (im not really bothered about not being able to use the other toons after 60, and plus if I can do it in less than 30 days I wont have to pay for the subs on the new accounts).

    TIA

It doesn't matter. The only consideration you need to match up beforehand are the server and making sure that you have the appropriate expansions on the right accounts (i.e. if you want an Alliance Shaman, make sure you're playing a TBC account).
    Basilikos
    Icecrown US Alliance

Mixed Group of Unholy DeathKnight, Holy Priest, Elemental/Restoration Shaman, Arcane Mage, Balance/Restoration Druid
Second Mixed group of Protection Paladin, Discipline Priest, Fire Mage, Affliction Warlock, Affliction Warlock

    5 Balance Druids - Shelved at 65
Holy Priest and 4 Warlocks - Shelved at 71
Protection Paladin and 4 Shadow Priests - Shelved at 60
    5 Elemental Shaman - Shelved at 60

If you log in with an account that has an expansion enabled, it has to run on a client that has the expansion installed. A classic wow account can log into a client with WotLK. But a Lich King account cannot log into a classic/bc only client. You will get an error telling you to install the expansion.

Ok I spent last night configuring keyclone, and get some basic macros working and I am not just about tri-boxing, I have a priest and 2 mages that I would like to use (basically as a way of powerlevelling the priest to 60) I just have another question.

I know probably the best way to multiboxing is to just go out and kill stuff over and over again and just grind to 60, but I would like to do quests and my question is that when people mulit-box quests, do you get your alts to do the quests as well? i.e. accept the quest on main, then share it to alts, kill stuff, then go to cash in. How do you get your alts to cash in the quest as well? or is it simply a case of your main does the quests like normai and your alts are just there to provide support?

I know thats a bit of a long sentence but just trying to get it right in my head, It took me ages to work out what 'Focus' meant.

Oh and as an afterthought, why wont my macro work if I use the qualifiers in the them?, the nodead, harm stuff.

    Cheers...

    Default Jamba

Install the jamba addon then you can setup quests to accept or follow the mains lead.. You still have to click the NPCs with your Alts but they will accept the same quests as your main... It's very helpfull for follows etc.....

My next question for my tri-box setup is how do I keyclone/do-not-pass etc if I want to do a /say or chat in guild channel etc without all my slaves doing the /say etc at the same time.
