server: US-Blood furnace

9p EST (8p server time) ... rally time for both sides.

alliance will probably rally around goldshire.

horde should probably rally around stonard, as that is the closest flight path. it's less then a 5 minute run to stormwind, with only 1 town in
the way to worry about (darkshire). horde should move out from stonard around 9:15p EST (8:15p server time) watch your flight times from ebon hold... can take 12+ minutes.. leave early. horde should do one final rally just before 9:30p (8:30p server time) just south of goldshire
(there is a clearing in a bit of a valley with a big log)

HORDE: DO NOT GO AFTER THE INNKEEPER UNTIL 9:30p (8:30p server time)

attacker goal:
a) kill innkeeper in goldshire
b) after innkeeper is killed, kill the flight master in stormwind ... you have 60 minutes from start to accomplish the task

defender goal:
a) keep the flight master alive to win
b) keep the innkeeper alive to bog attacker down in goldshire

there is also a vent server set up ( iridium.typefrag.com : 47914 ) ... jump in to help coordinate the fun (i'm KC)

afraid your pvp skills aren't quite ready but would like to see the mayhem? no worries. be a war correspondent and take screencaps of the battle.

if that sounds like you, roll a lowbie (alliance human would be closet starting point) and take screen shots as the action unfolds.

things of interest:

1. death of the innkeeper (please have the game clock visible)
2. death of the flight master (please have the game clock visible)

after that, maybe the rally points ... and of course, loads of combat shots to record the insanity (remember to hide the screen interface for cool shots)

just remember... don't flag... or your lowbie will be toast

wow, this is going to be a difficult feat for the horde. though the flight master is at the edge of the city, the only way to get to him would be to walk through the middle of the trade district (busiest part of sw). its too far to deathgrip him from the shore at the botton. so hopefully... the level 75 guards dont kill us all. hehe.

oh and i cant make it tonight. i might not be able to join saturday either. got some legal things to take care of plus my friend has a bday thing. i'll try to be on but no guarantees.

well, i mentioned it last night to a bunch of horde as thrallmar was getting camped by 6 alliance 80s. (i took out a few, but no more then 2 before getting wiped... rinse /repeat for 30 minutes)

looks like there might be some horde 80s that will show up. i'll pimp in orgrimmar around 8:30p EST to get some support.

hopefully, that will help minimize the alliance guards and alliance 80s that will be there

on a side note, pvp in blood furnace seems to be lively. a know on my server a lot of times people leave each other alone. but here... hehe. i've had plenty of gank experiences... and am ready to return the favor.

i think the ganking is from people in the last week signing up for this event. we've made hellfire a bit of a magnet for pvp'rs

most of us have our main toons on other servers. blood furnace was picked due to its low pop

you basically have to invest the 2-ish hours of the starting area to get out, then join us in fight! after doing the starting area about four different times now, its gotten to the point where i can do everything in one sitting.
