Maximizer not working properly?

Greetings once again,

After experimenting with Triboxing last night I absolutely adored it!

But! Im having a problem with Maximizer. I made the .bat script and it runs the first instance of WoW but the size is all wrong and its in the wrong place. On top of that the second and third instances dont run at all.

Im using a 1490x900 Res, do I need to change the batch file?

You need to alter the batch file to be specific to your Window Settings.

Theres several hundred posts on Maximiser and people having problems with it. Read some of them and the solultions and you should be able to work it out yourself.

Maybe we do need a sticky. Maximizer is..... useful but hard to configure at first glance. Doesn't help that nobody supports or develops it anymore.

It IS open source though *nudge* *nudge*.

I'm currently working on writing a maximizer guide/tutorial which will explain in detail how to work out and set custom window resolutions, positions, custom batch files/shortcuts, and explain the differences of using it in XP/vista.

I should have it posted in the next few days (work permitting) and a sticky would be much appreciated (and hopefully useful to others :wink: )

REM batch file to launch 3 evenly spaced wows
REM Left monitor
c:\wow1\maximizer.exe --margin 400,30,0,0
REM top of right mon
c:\wow2\maximizer.exe --margin 0,500,0,720
REM bottom of right mon
c:\wow3\maximizer.exe --margin 0,500,720,0

Thats what I am using now for tri-boxing on 1 machine, using 1 monitor
