Basically, I've had a lot of visitors over lately, and they invariably all get drawn up stairs to look at my 10 monitors and computers. I guess the awe is kind of nice, but I do what I do for personal satisfaction, not because anyone thinks its cool. Or geeky for that matter.

Anyway, I always get the response "I could never do that.", which isn't really true since multiboxing's complexity lies largely in the set up and tuning. The whole thing made me think of it like someone who plays a big pipe organ. It looks impressive just sitting there, and it gets even better when someone plays it, but its not inconceivable or impossible to do.

That's kind of how I've come to explaining my set up to people. How do other people explain themselves to visitors who've never seen it before?
