One thing I noticed last night worth mentioning. I was boosting two sets of linked characters in SM with the 80 DK. The first group was a 22 Warlock on my friends account (he was playing it, I let him refer me to get some bonus out of helping) and a 20 Mage on my account that is linked to his. I also had two 20 priests that were linked on two of my other accounts. So basically we have two characters that are linked, and two other characters that are linked, plus the booster not linked to any account.
My friend had the heirloom shoulders with the 10% xp bonus, so he quickly out paced my mage. At one point he commented on being out of rested xp. This struck me as strange because you don't use rested XP when you are getting the RaF bonus. He checked his logs and he wasn't getting the RaF bonus anymore. He was 29 and the mage was 25. The priests were both 26 and still getting RaF. Since we were still in SM Cath, the mobs were not grey to any of the characters except the booster so they were all getting XP. As soon as the mage hit 26, my friend started getting the RaF bonus again as did the mage. Later on, when he was 4 levels ahead again, the bonus stopped. It seems that being 4 levels higher than a linked character will negate RaF even when the mobs are not grey to either.
Just thought this might be worth knowing.

P.S. He took his shoulders off so he wouldn't get so far ahead and we manage to get the mage to stay pretty close to 3 levels difference till mine were all 30 and he was 32.
