I generally use the following route:

    1-10 Quest
    10-20 SFK
20-40 SM Cath/Armory (Depends on if you hit the instance limit)
    40-45 ZF
    45-55 Strath
    55-60 Ramparts

I avoid Deadmines on my allies since it has a long roundtrip to get back to the start and there are too many back pats. Stockades is nice and short, but the constant knockdowns begins to annoy me. Since nothing is better than SM at 20, might as well make the trip to SFK on the way, even on PvP servers.

If your Pally is only level 70, you can stay in Strath until 60, but Ramparts gives about 2-3 times the XP.

    Yeah, read that thread.

As you'll see, I follow same route more or less. I'm questing til 10 (what a grind)---just did new pair tonight. I then hit VC. The route back to start sucks, but I just need to suck it up for about 4 runs and it's easy to get to.

@15 it's stockades (thank you for shortness) and the rest is just like Souca said.

I try to bail from an instance when exp takes a dive. For instance, doing Strat past 55 is a bit much. I can hit 60 much faster by just going to Ramparts. And unless you like the same thing over and over, you'll be ready for something fresh after 10 levels in Strat.

For strat, I enter via service entrance and do the undead run to baron. I get a level and change per run and it takes me about 30 minutes and I loot often. Best of all, I get about 10 chances to be disappointed from no mount dropping.
