    Default Instance boosting question

    Hi

I've been dual boxing for about a month now, and have got 2 mages to 60 (1 on old a/c 1 on the new a/c) and then got 2 shammies to 31, and gifted the one on the old a/c to 60 using the "new" mage.
What I now want to do is get the other shammy to 60 using instance boosting so I can use it to gift some more levels to another toon at 31 (I'm thinking drood for speed of lvling)

My question is this - where's the best place to boost instances from 31, and would using my 80 prot warrior be the best way to go?

I am still on RAF time obviously

Instance boosting was my perfered way to level my team of 4 on my raf.

Here is the path I followed using a lvl 70 paladin to boost with in season 2 gear

RFC (Org) - Lvl 8 till you hit lvl 12 (you can basicly skip this and just grind in the newbie zone and just outside it till you ding 12 if you like doing those silly easy quests)
SFK (silverpine forest) lvl 12 to 25 basicly ... if you park all your toons by the gate your main can run around and pull all the mobs in groups above your toons threwout th entire instance
it takes me 3 pulls max I think to clear this..and if your worried about blue's u can set masterloot and move the blues to toons that need them that way. I seldom
Looted in this instance simply for speed reasons..just stood in place and pulled and repeated each run takes less then 15 minutes.
SM Cath (UC area) lvl 25 - 40 - I found the xp was a bit low as I started this but as the toons level up you gain more and more xp per kill...I can 3 pull cath with ease, if you target the
boss in cathedral he'll pull the entire instance for you.. I usually leave my guys in the fountain well main rounds things up.
ZF (gadgetzan) lvl 40 - 50 - this area is awesome for boosting in...drag your guys into instance park em by the door, have your main hop onto his/her horse and round em up
If after combat you can't remount it means you forgot to kill someone..usually a caster..this is a glitch GM's have told me..kinda lame but go back and kill
some straggler and wayyou ago again..this instance is very fast to run even full clears for me.
Scholo (WPL) lvl 50 - 60 - Some ppl choose strath, I perfer scholo I dunno why it just closer I guess once you fly to UC and run...anyways some good blue drops, and its basicly really easy
I can't remember how long each run takes but I burn threw the levels usually in a night from 50 to 60.

Enjoy, and welcome to the club.

30-35 I'd do SM, 35-43ish I'd do ZF, 43-45 ST if you're tired of ZF, 45-55ish in BRD.

I usually just quest from 44ish to 60, I can do it in about 5 or 6 RAF hours.

That's pretty much what I thought, any idea how much xp you get for a run through? I mean is it going to take hundreds of runs to get a couple of levels?

yes, it will take hundreds of runs... well not that much, but still a lot since you only have two accounts and you're using one account to boost the other. one high level, one low level, raf 3x bonus does not kick in.

i'd pay a guy 1k gold to run me through instances from level 8 to 60 if he could. then you'll have an extra char. then use the new 60 char to grant to your level 31 char. maybe that will work. but doing this with two accounts only is hard since its just back to the old, no bonus, routine.

using 3-4 hours a night after work I generally am able to boost a toon from 12 to 60 in 4 days but im kinda slow and often end up looting everything myself...what i've been doing lately is inviting some unknown stranger and giving them all the loot on the condition that they can loot super quick and dont leave anything behind..that way you get all the coin drops..which is all u really care about anyways...at lvl 60 just get your main to run your toons threw the specific instances you want the blues out of..saves much time.

Where/what are you questing to go from 44 to 60 in 6 hour?

Best ive done with RAF was 30 hours and that was just 100% questing with 3 level 68 mages on follow blasting everything to frak and not looting a thing.

My new group is taking forever (new server so no assets to lean upon) They are level 45 right now at about 35 hours played time.
