a shaman topped the DPS chart in the 25x raid we did

A guild mate and I took a solo character each into the 25 man OS PUG. I took my resto shaman and he took one of his elemental shaman.
His elemental shaman was at the top of the DPS charts for almost every pull but one ( several times >3000 DPS ) :thumbup:

I was surpised that the other shaman with more raid gear wasn't keeping up with sheshamd ( skill and great macros I guess ) 8|

and my shaman healer was on the top of the healing charts for 1 or 2 of the pulls

I should have made a screen shot of the DPS numbers.
I know it was a PUG and several players were getting awards for their first Valor badge but it still felt good to be a contendor again.

It seems the shaman have been fixed.

I was at 3200+ yesterday in Naxxramas 10 man. I was at the second place, first place was a mage. (but spider group aoe anyone?)

I also had 4100 dps on Sartharion 25 man.

Is our damage nerfed then or what? Havent played my shamans that many yet today.

My enhancement shaman is usually in the top 3, and I'm only beaten by people who have practically full T7/T7.5. I only have two pieces of T7.

Hmm quick questio tho however regaurding sheshamdtalent point allocation. I like it as it is a very ncie setup. however I really would enjoy instant ghostwolf. Would it be a better decision to drop 2 ranks of Elemental Precision (dont know how important + 2% hit really comes out to in the end) or better to drop 2 ranks of unrelenting storm (hmm mana hmmm mana totems).

Really great spec overall I would say. I still havnt respecced my shaman team since it was reset to 0 since I am trying to use RAF to focus on other teams atm.

My shaman is pulling #1 and 2 on DPS in respective weeks on Patchwerk. Definitely loving the changes. keep forgetting to use EM though XD

if you keep forgetting to use EM couldnt you make two seperate castrandom macros. One that has it and one that doesnt. This way you will never forget it, just an idea.

EM is a massive dps boost. It gives you 20% more chance to crit for 30 seconds, and apart from this being being a huge dps increae, what it does is make clearcassting be up more, which gives you 10% more for your next two spells. ANd yea, you will find ele shammies will scale extremely well now with spell powr.

Also, elemental precision should not be dropped. 2% hit is 2% dps. For raiding the hit is more important than the instant ghostwolf which you can't even use inside most raids.

The elemental shaman I solo raid with went from ~4000 dps vs 25m patchwerk to ~5000 after the patch. Large buffs are large.

I also throw a magma totem in the middle of trash pulls just so I can stomp on the "spamming aoe on trash and topping meters means I'm awesome" people.

5000????!!! can you link your gear? and do you do FS>LvB>LBxxxx?

5k is pretty normal now, did 5600 on last patchwerk, but in my guild at least that put me at 8th on meters
