Default Well Im up and running, few quick questions I cant figure out

Currently dualing Warr/Sham using keyclone got the basics down and am getting better as I go along. I am having a few problems though:
1.talking, in the broad sense, is extremely difficult I am either sending multiple tells to someone, or I disable enter/r for the slaves and type which works fine. Except that they jump about and open random screens which sucks. . .is there a way to fix this or do I just learn to deal with it?
2.Keyclone/PIP and character movements, I use a basic /follow for my sham to follow warrior, however it tends to bug out sometimes and I am stuck running(not numlocked) or I spin in circles, any ideas?
3.Easier way to get slave within combat range? Or is backing up the mob to the sham the best way?

Thats about all I can think of now, 16/17 and going in under 3 hours

    hi! and welcome : )

i had that problem as well (jumping, doing random things on clone while typing on main (got her (and a couple of hordes) killed in gadgetzan by an "accidental" frost cone)). then i found the mute button in keyclone (default "pause" i think) which turns off broadcasting of keys.

second one, click back to that window and click all movement keys ... basically WoW has registered a downclick, but not a release, so it thinks you are still pressing the button.

I found that white listing keys worked far better than using the mute function, under Do-Not-Pass in the keyclone setup add the keys you do want to pass and mark the checkbox called White List.
    Alliance Team: Paladin (63), Shaman (63), Shaman (63), Warlock (63), Druid (63)
    Horde Team: Paladin (64), Mage (64), Mage (64), Warlock (64), Priest (64)

that wouldn't really help in this case though as he's referring to chatting. but it reminded me of something ... i have my movement keys (QWEASD) on the do-not-pass, however, is it possible to white-list a combination like "SHIFT" + "E" for example?

I don't really see why it doesn't work when he's having problems with toons moving and opening various windows while he's chatting. If you use the number keys for attacks and white list those all the rest are free for chatting without anything happening. Could be me missing the point though.
As far as I understand the White List excludes all the keypresses except the keys listed, I tried adding Shift+B for opening all the bags on all the toons and it seems to pass B with or without the Shift Key held.
    Alliance Team: Paladin (63), Shaman (63), Shaman (63), Warlock (63), Druid (63)
    Horde Team: Paladin (64), Mage (64), Mage (64), Warlock (64), Priest (64)

    1. The pause key is your friend.

    2. is a known problem, usually happens when you didn't put WASD on the "Do Not Post" list. But there are other possible causes.
Yours sounds like you have wasd on DNP, but while swapping instances (wow programs) you have a movement key pressed, and because it is on DNP, which is logical, unpressing the key will not register on the window you just left. Solution is quite simple, don't use pip or swap instances while having movement keys pressed.

    3. If your shaman is enhancement, I would consider maining your shaman and alting your warrior, upon approaching a mob, charge with your warrior and individually move your shaman. Warriors are, due to charge, somewhat easier to position as alts. You can not 100% rely on charge alone, but it will make grinding a whole lot nicer.
Alternatively, don't play your shaman as melee. :P

As for as moving towards or backing up mobs. In PvE sense backing the mobs towards your alts is indeed nicer. But that wouldn't work in situations like PvP. Unless you don't care about it, I'd use seperate movement keys, practice makes perfect and learning to use it in pve is the first step of handling yourself in pvp.

Whilest multiboxing tends to be seen as a journey to minimize micro-management. It should be your insentive to have as much micromanagement you can handle, obviously not to much, but to give you the most control in dynamic situations. Sure you can take away almost all micro-management with certain tactics and strategies. But it makes you vulnerable too!
Slowly crawling back towards the experience that is Multiboxing Mayhem

I quickly discovered that a white list is much easier than do-not-pass, especially if you're going to be doing a lot of chatting (eg guild)

The other option is to not join the guild until you're up to 60 or whatever

concur with everyone else. either use a whitelist or an "off" button.

i prefer the off button as i have it show me that keyclone is "OFF" at the top of my screen.
for the whitelist, most buttons are always "off."

yup I have become damn good at using F12 to pause keyclone lol, all while still in combat.

As for specs, the Warrior will be going arms and the Shaman rest, basically a totem/healing machine which isnt to bad

    Another question:
Is there an easier way to loot items between characters, outside of clicking through each one individually? Currently I get all the gather items on the warrior than go through and get them on sham, is it possible to braodcast the mouse to both instances of WoW ?
