Utgarde Keep: DKs Take Zero Skill

Here is another video from "DKs Take Zero Skill". This is the 5th movie in my series and I'm still learning Vegas, so bare with me (I promise it will only get better).

I tried some new things in this video (really, just to test things out and see what I can do to improve on it) By the time the video was done and I was reviewing it, I noticed certain points in the video that I wished I had done differently, also, the timing on certain things were slower, or faster than I had wanted... It's all good though, because I will figure out it sooner or later for the next videos.

Also, sorry for the time screw up, said 10amish EST (I don't live in the EST anymore) whoops...

I'm not even 100% sure how they survive... It's funny, I will being using the toon with the most Defense as the "main" tank and of course, one of the other toons will get off some decent hits and pull aggro, so I will try and get it back, but of course, me getting it back tells the other 3 toons to get it as well... lol. So here I am spamming attacks and tuants to get them back, and the other toons yank him right back. Sometimes its a good thing because the damage taken is going between all 5 toons, and not just one. But I made one better for the specific reason of OHNOESHESGOINGTODIE and I have him take the aggro because he should "take" the damage better. But he takes the damage harder than all of them. Not sure why, maybe it's because they have higher Parry/Dodge.

Honestly, I used IBF and Vampiric Blood a lot. Only because it's a Min timer, and I know when to use it and when not too. I have a feeling that with Northern, I'm gonna have to use it more
often because of the damage the mobs throw out.

definitely keep making these! I watch them at work to pass the time as its good to see how other people approach a problem. I would like to see how you did Ingvar. I couldnt do him at 71 with 4 DKs and a Druid healer. Once I hit 72 I fixed my macros for healing and was able to take him out. With those macros I might have beat him at 71, dunno.

Heh, well, it seems like the numbers are pointing towards UK. I put the 3rd option in there for the hell of it, *I will kill you all in the night!*

I enjoy making them, and only to now am I actually starting to understand Vegas (Not like the UK movie is going to be the "end all movies of movies" but it will be different from the rest, lol) Just adding effects and random certain things to make it a little more interesting. It's pretty hard to link up songs with movies that are not PVP. PVE is sort of ok, but if you are showing how the dungeon looks and how you did it, it's a bit hard to find the one song that links up with something you are doing.

I did Nexus the other night and only lost 2 people on the stupid dragon... I might could have lived if I had remembered to use Lichborne (Draw upon unholy energy to become undead for 15 sec. While undead, you are immune to Charm, Fear and Sleep effects, and your horrifying visage causes melee attacks to have an additional 25% chance to miss you.) I picked it up and only used it once I think (and that was by accident).

I'm probably going to redo my spec, keep my blood, but going to fix a few things. If I can handle both UK and Nexus at my current level with my spec, then I hope my modified one will make it even easier.

I should (hopefully) have most of the movie done tonight (UK that is) and then I can start on Nexus and Mana/Crypt. 8o

Very nice editing, I might suggest that having the graphic each time you do your ground AoE is kinda overkill after the 5th time or so. It was a pretty cool effect though! I find it interesting that you just eat the frontal cone AOE that Ingvar does... on my slaves it will drop them to 30% health so you must have massive health on your slaves or Im doing something wrong. I had to make a seperate movement key for this boss alone. I bound the tank's forward movement to my down arrow key so that when he charges up I run my main through him and the slaves back up in the same direction. It gets hectic at times, but once I made that key change I one shot him.

I also noticed you actually run your main in frost presence, do you slaves run in that too?
