    Default First time Dual Boxer!

Right ive currently settled on the idea im going to use 2 accounts, Ive tried 3 and 4 (Only have 1 computer and 5 is to much)

Anyway ive decided to use 2 accounts and just level up 2 chars and its not lagging or anything with 2 and its not so expensive!

Anyway since im new to the whole thing im not going to do anything to hard so im going to lvl 2 of the same class, but what I cant figure out is what 2 classes, So far ive tried Mage's / Shaman's and Warlocks. But I still cant figure out what I should stick with!

    Give me some ideas!

I'd stay away from 2x melee so paladin, rogue, and warrior are out!

    Here's some ideas:

    2xHunters
    2xPriests
    2xMages
    2xWarlocks
    2xShaman
    2xDruids

Does that help? Play the class you like the most.

I think to get the most benefit from a multiboxing duo you need to do 2 diff classes (or at least two diff specs). Lots of really interesting possibilities open up then, rogue/druid, druid/druid, warrior/shaman.

I had a lot of fun with the warrior/priest combo (before switching to 5 boxing). For leveling, Fury or Arms will work for a warrior (its your preference), and a shadowpriests Vampiric Embrace usually heals enough while questing to keep the warrior up.

Priest has a resurrect, heals, does good damage.
Warrior can tank, good DPS, plate, etc.

I gotta say I love the Holy/Smite priest+Prot pally combo - that was my first Dual Box experience. If either person lives through the fight, you have a res - pally gets bubble and DI - so you almost never have to run back from the graveyard. On top of that, you get JoW on the mob and you can wand for mana, you get Seal of the Crusader which makes your priest actually get decent DPS, you get consecrate which means you can AoE mobs and simply have the priest heal through it.

Warrior + priest - your warrior will find it hard keeping things off his priest buddy. If your priest DOES die (which is often) the warrior can't do much about it.

Valid points for the pally. Really, the only reason I did the Warrior/Priest combo was because I already had the priest at 70 and the warrior at 60. Seemed only natural to have a healer in tow to level to 70. My current 5 box team, I have been boosting with my warrior, but I really regret having the pally on the same account as the warrior. I may have to solo boost the pally up with my mage when we all get to 70. I think having the Pally for tanking would be easier.

I've played mage/mage to 20 and was a bit underwhelmed. The mage is more built around kiting / mobility, frost bolt, frost nova, blink, etc. Difficult to play well due to positioning and line of sight issues. Maybe I just suck at playing mages.

Currently on warlock/warlock at 14 and it feels a lot more powerful. One imp for dps and blood pact, one voidwalker for tanking. DoTs to conserve mana or Shadow Bolts to burn things down quickly. Lifetap and healthstones are great as well. I am killing mobs 3 and 4 levels above me without breaking a sweat. The VW takes a pounding from a 4+ mob though.

One of the warlocks will definitely go Demonology next (instant Corruption was first) for improved blood pact and healthstones. Not sure what I will do with the other warlock, probably Affliction.

I have a fury warrior and shadow priest, both at level 60, that I dual-boxed for a while. If you run with this combo (and spec) just be prepared to have your priest being the tank instead of the warrior. The priest just puts out so much more damage than the warrior that he draws aggro very easily.

2xhunter would be so cool, so would hunter and lock.

I am soooo tempted to start 4xhunter. LOL 4 pets would be frickin hilarious, the mob would never know which one it wants to attack.
