Solo MC and Onyxia

I know, not a big deal since apparently Blood DKs have soloed everything now, but dammit, its something I've been wanting to do for a while, and by God, I finally got to down Ragnaros. Now i just need to hit ZG, BWL, and AQ20/40.

I got Ony to 315k the other night before she pretty much fried me. That was the first time I'd even seen her (I have never been a raider) and I decided on a whim to run in and try to kill her. She decided otherwise

I couldn't figure out how to get her when she was in the air, and she just sat there and fireballed me to death. Finally got my DK uncrittable since then, and some nice BoE epics for the shaman, so I may try again when I make it a point to get the dungeon achievements.

She has a hit box directly underneath her for melee and of course ranged can just attack her as normal while she is in the air.

You can stand right underneath her if she's melee and wtfown her

The main thing to look out for is it will pop up something about "ony takes a deep breath" or something, very soon after that she blows fire down the middle and it burns, if your shammys are still fresh 80's they will prob be 1 shot by it.

It only goes down the middle though I think so move em out or try keep em to the sides. This is just in phase 2 also when shes in the air.

On phase 3 its the same as #1 just lay down some tremor totems as she fears all the time, can be a pain constantly trying to get your shammys away from the eggs and facing her again.

Funny observation. I'm alliance, and Ony dropped two Helms of Ten Storms. Irony at it's finest.

Alliance can roll shammies now... was more ironic when shammy stuff dropped for us before we could.

Actually, she does a deep breath depening on where she is. If she is up top in the middle, the deep breath goes all the way down the middle, but if she is in a corner, she will deep breath to the opposite corner down the other end.
