    Default DK multi-boxing in instances?

I saw a thread here about multi-boxing DKs and also about cows having longer reach in melee. Multi-boxing any melee has always felt a bit awkward to me, but with DG and some range abilities thrown in maybe it runs more smoothly. The posts i was reading were more about DK in pvp and also vs the shaman wonder team comp. I am wondering if anyone is using a x4 DK + healer to run through normal mode instances and/or heroic instances.

If you check the movies forum, there are a few vids of players who have multiboxed five DKs through tBC instances.

Yeah i saw the vids which is part of what sparked my curiosity. Unless i missed it those are all non-northrend instances, and i have been told that DK are stronger from 60 to 70 and kind of level off around 75. I have a horde DK at 79 half way to 80 and i did feel like there was a leveling off in the later levels. That being said DK, from my play experience, are still very strong even later in levels (just not as much as at 60's). Maybe i need to learn to handle them better? I was part of several "all blood DK" instance runs in outlands and that was a blast, but i didn't see them anymore in northrend. Then there was the recent patch with the nerfs and buffs to DK tanking and such.

So, i was wondering, more specifically if anyone has had any luck or theory crafting around DK teams in northrend. My sense would be that x4 + healer would be ok... idk about x5 (though if you can it would be a hoot).

There is until you get very good gear, then they do pick up again.
I believe the Tauren reach Hitbox is now no longer true.
If you are thinking of melee DK then the smallest skinniest model possible I find really helps.

I am wondering why you find the smallest skinniest model the best. I assume that it is because it makes you harder to target? Also when you say that after getting really good gear then they can do it again... do you mean x5 (all DK) boxing instances? How would you get this gear without boxing the instances? Single box instances to get the loot? Are you just talking about making some craftable sets?

I've done about 8 different heroics with my 80 DKs and an outside healer or with my shaman healing. I have some screen shots in the screen shot section. It's just a different approach than doing all casters. It's easier doing all casters, but I think the DKs are a bit more fun, just a pain trying to get raid groups.

Smallest and skinniest, yes because size helps a little making them a bit harder to mouseclick on,they snag objects far less and for melee they are just easier to see in a cluster.
Getting really good gear helps DK's when your performance starts to plateau,(I found that at somewhere between 50%blue gear and some Savage Gear and up to 400-450 resil.
Getting gear is easy enough you can try and get into a Raid Group in WG after the battle,or you can just do Arena matches and BG's and grind it up that way.
No i'm not talking about craftable all my play is for PvP.
    Hope that helps

I know this is a bit off topic of the original thread, but i don't want to make a whole new thread for it so i will see what happens just adding comments here.

If small and skinny is good i wonder if you would like a gnome team the best. I believe that gnome has the best "can't click this" box in the game and probably doesn't snag anything. For me the problem with that is they are so small that the graphic of the game is not as visible on them (armor and gear and movements and stuff). I suppose for horde you have UD and Belf but i just really don't like Belf or UD DK. For myself i am considering rolling Tauren DK if i go horde and Gnome and/or Dwarf if i go alliance. One factor for me is that i have other high level toons on horde side but not on ally side atm. I have 62 druids/72 shaman/72 pally/79 DK all horde side. I love the gnome racial though. For a class that suffers a lot from movement impairing effects gnome racial is so win. I have played a gnome DK in bg at 59 so far (single box).

Dont roll tauren, roll orc. They have the best racials for PvE and tauren just sucks because when you have a few on screen they block clicking. I cant tell you how many times I have had to move my damn druid out of the way because he's too fat. I wish druids could be another race, I would seriously reroll him.
