Question about blue pvp set.

Ok at this time i 5 box prot pally/3 ele sham and 1 resto sham. On a good day i can bring in about 15 emblems of heroism probably more but those are a sure thing. question is, is it faster to just pvp to get the blue set or should i stick to heroics and waste emblems on full set of the blue crap stuff. Also what i can do is do my 10 arena games per week and get the set for honor/arena points. im looking for the fastest way to get the set before i go pure elemental on all 4 to get the offset pieces. If its faster as pve ill stay pve if its faster pvp i think i can deal with getting 50k per piece...

If you can get 15 emblems a day you can almost buy 3 items at the end of the week. So I would suggest buying two parts with them and use your 10 game a week points to buy a 3rd. In two weeks you should have enough emblems + arena to buy all 5 items of the savage set.

I think fastest is a combination of pvp and arena. Buy some honor pieces, and some honor/arena pieces.
And there's another benefit of pvp:ing for the gear.. you practice your pvp skills a lot, which will come in handy in arena later on.

If you just go pve heroics, you won't be accustomed to dealing with gangups of 10+ players.. which is good practice for arena.


Going against 10 players in a BG has a similar feel to it as going against 5 players in arena.

The chest/legs/head cost 12000 honor and 250 arena points i belive.

I can bring in about 8000-10000 if i do wintergrasp and complete the 3 boxing friendly dailies.

Destroy 3 sieg vehicles.
Kill 20 players.
Win wintergrasp.

If i do the daily bg and win on the first atempt its about 10-12k honor each day for 1 hour play.

Its FAR more effective to do it over a week then hardcore grinding for 2 days.

alright so what ill do is im at 36 emblems on shamans ill grind out 9 to get 1 item for 45 then ill arena and pvp/dailies if i have time left over ill respec shaman back to resto and pull in the 15 each day of my weekend which should grab me 1 other piece. seems the fastest imo thanks for your input. Also i saw a new leg armor in the AH +40 resil and +28 sta would this be better to use than the 35 spell dmg 20 sta ones?

Did you get the emblem shield yet? It's pretty nice. You won't find anything better in PvP for a loooooong time.

yea was first item i got also grabbed the totem and trinket. i was going to stay pve cause of the way shamans were but now that we are viable im getting back into the pvp swing
