One shotted Heroic HoL tonight

Hadn't run it before, and after running it on normal pre-3.0.8 I was very nervous to run it on Heroic. Turns out that running it on normal first awhile back was smart because I was able to reformulate my strategies and I blew through the instance with absolutely zero issues. Not only that but I managed to get 3 achievements in addition to the completion achievement. The three achievements I got were... the one to kill the General (first boss) while hes still charged - just burned him down. The one to kill Volkhan without him exploding 4 golems - did this by not killing any golems at all - tanked volkhan near party and just kept picking up the adds. And, kill Loken in less than 2 minutes (was this a joke? He died in like 50 seconds).

Anyway, I was pretty proud of myself. The strategies listed in other posts here were quite useful. The biggest one for me was for Ionar - I stood my tank in the room just before his spawn location, and I put my shamans in a box around the tank - backs to the pillars and walls nearest them. The key was dropping 4x healing stream and of course a nature resist totem. Whenever the boss spidered I simply waited and chain healed x4 as necessary but the healing streams did a great job of keeping everyone up. This made the encounter insanely easy.

Loken was pretty easy too though I admit its probably because I have 15k+ hp per character. For this one I stacked my whole group right on top of him as the normal MB strategy goes...even right on top of him i was taking a couple hundred damage a tick but my 4x healing streams kept my guys topped off. For the first nova I used anti magic zone and kept burning, the rest I did as everyone here said and just casted a chain heal right after the nova and it healed my guys up enough that the healing stream totems finished healing them. The novas would take my guys from full (~15k hp) down to about 3k or so, wasn't too bad. Only problem I could see in this fight is running out of mana - with the healing streams and the chain heals etc I was burning through it pretty fast, I think I ended the fight with something like 5k or 6k mana per character (but I have 17k per char and something like 408mp5 out of combat not including mana springs - less gear would have made mana an issue).

I'm pretty sure at this point I overgear the instance which is why it was so easy - all in all a fairly fun instance, I might add it to my regulars (Gundrak, DTK, CoS right now). Best part is I got 4x exalted argent crusade on my shamans and picked up the exalted ring, and my DK got her 80th badge from loken so I picked up the T7 chest 29.7k hp, 22.5% dodge, 16% parry, 541 defense, 28.4k armor now For a brief moment before I regemmed, I had 31k hp unbuffed - that was pretty fun to see

I ran a 25 man Naxx tonight on my warlock, and the druid tank had 47k HP.... unreal....
