:P Wow... well then blizzard fails the designer of that mouse fails. GG bliz.

So after laughing at this mouse, I got to wondering since while playing on a solo toon im a hardcore Mouse key pad and QWEASD key player along with the Shift + Up arrow key. Those are the only keys I use while playing well ya tab too w.e at least for combat.. So i figured having to jump from mouse to key pad to mouse to key bad was pissing me off =] any names of a top quality mouse with idk at least 12 extra little keys on it? I still want the 2 regular mouse buttons IE left-right click for well clicking and looting =P

names and or links = <3

I'm going to head to best buy today after work and pick up anything they have there. Unless someone points me out to a super sexy one that is worth the wait for ordering it. =P  :P

As a mouse, this is bad (I mean really bad). My Logitech is a way better.
But for a multiboxer perspective, this mouse is priceless.
I use every 15 buttons of this mouse.

    Thanks Vyndree for the review.

I was looking to get several of these, but I guess I'll just get another X-keys Pro!

Thank you for the review! I was considering to buy that, but now I know it's a waste of money.

They released a new version of the software, and I tried it out just now (v1.03) --

They claim to have fixed the issue with extended ASCII names and the armory profile -- that didn't work (and indeed, they updated their blog to say it'd be fixed in the next software rev).
You are still unable to bind key combinations (i.e. SHIFT+K or ALT+1 or CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+7). It will press and release shift/ctrl/alt and then press and release the next key rather than pressing them simultaneously.

    Still a lemon.

Bummer. Well, thanks for calling attention to it.

This whole "WoW branded / WoW illegal" thing is just ridiculous. The fact that it doesn't even work all that great on top of that? O_o

I just received my SS Wo.W mouse and i am having some issues with it.

I had one on order for 6 months up here in Canada, but found it on a shelf in the states over the weekend.

I'd read the poor reviews, but wanted to satisfy my curiosity after all this time, so I disposed of some disposable income and picked one up.

For starters my buttons feel like they're made out of cheap ass plastic, as in really cheap ass for the $ i paid..WTF?!?

It gives me the tingles in my fingers and i thought i had a major issue with RSI after playing for 5 hours straight but no, apparantly it's some issue where there's electricity being leaked out onto the chasis. I want to return mine but their tech support hasn't gotten back to me. So much for money well spent.

I think im going to hit up a G5 or the mamba, which is kinda too expensive. there's even a bunch of guys suing blizzard for it at http://petitiononline.com/wowmouse for flouting the TOS. sign up if you're facing problems with your mouse!

seems like there's so much complaints about the mouse in every forum i searched for. wtf

Ok, just got home so I'm able to do a bit more investigating beyond the obvious default setting flaws.

The user manual is incredibly misleading about delays and loops...

    1. Timing Control

    • Text (Auto Delay) - This option is selected by default and is designed to optimize the delays for proper in-game performance. If you are not sure what option to use - simply leave this option on.
    • Record Delay - When selected, it will record the delays in real time reflecting your typing speed when creating a macro. This option is useful when you need precise real-life timing for some advance macros.
    • No Delay - ...
Not only was I shocked to read such "gray area" material in point one and most-definitely-against-the-rules material in item #2, but they followed up that section in the user guide with...
    2. Looping
You can loop the macro by enabling the Loop check-box and specifying the number of repetitions.
    ... X( <-- this is Vyndree's angry face

That being said, I also tried out some software multiplexing to see if this mouse COULD be used for multiboxing at all. I found, using the program Multibox, that I was able to transmit the mouse "macros" using the "Keyboard broadcast" button -- NOT the "mouse broadcast" button. It's basically what I expected after seeing the speed typing -- the mouse software is just throwing all the input in as if it came from a standard keyboard.

The most useful part of the manual really just told me where I could make my own "custom" macros. The print/sharing feature for profiles also seemed nice.

Anyway, I'm pretty miffed that they didn't even put a "Hey, don't do this in WoW" blurb next to the delays/looping section... after all, WoW's logo is plastered on the plastic. But I can't say I expected the quality of their manual to meet my expectations after this whole thing, so bleh. whatever.

SALT ON THE WOUND! SALT ON THE WOUND!

The damn program pulls data from the armory, and it DOESN'T ACCEPT EXTENDED ASCII. Furthermore, I was going to try and put the URL-encoded text in to see if it would "fix" their lack of foresight, but it's also CHARACTER LIMITED. They had the frame of mind to remember to limit the number of characters you could paste into their little form window, but not enough to realize that some people use extended ASCII in their names.

    Retards.

Here's how I have mine set up. God I love this thing. Just need to figure out how to use keyclone with mouse broadcasting (searching the forum atm)

The delay you are describing, is it as if you click once then KeyClone automates the movement of your mouse from window to window clicking the other 4 where you just were on that first window?
