2 instances on same computer...

I decided to start playing WoW again today and was going to use the RAF. My problem is for some reason the only way I can play is if one instance is in windows mode and the other is in full screen. If I try and play in both windowed mode like I used to do, the lag is so bad I can't move. Not only that it doesn't just lag me in game, it will lag my whole computer. I won't even be able to type on msn messanger. My computer should easily run any game out there. I have I7 processor, EVGA 280x video card, 12 gigs of ram and vista 64. I updated drivers and even tried running in compatability mode but still nothing. I never had a problem on my old computer running even 3 at a time in windowed mode. I also have adminstrator mode turned off. My CPU runs at 28 percent use with 2 instances up and my in game latency is like 65, FPS 60+ at 1920 x 1200 resolution wide screen. Anyone else ever had a problem like this? I've never seen a game lag out my whole computer, just doesn't make sense.

My wife and I have the same hardware spec except for the video card.. she has a 7900 GTO and I have a 8800 GTX ... she isnt able to lauch to instance of a 3D game.. as I'm able to launch five at a time...
I've done some research, but no luck so far... hang on .. it's pissing her off... I presume that your are too...

It is just so odd. If I switch one instance to full screen and leave one in windowed mode..it runs just fine. Only when both are in windowed is there a problem
